Well it was nice getting the newsletter in my e mail but concerning that there was no news on DW. Currently we are just speculating but it would be nice to have better news

I hope they get this going and off the ground otherwise I fear we are going to lose an otherwise good game due to inactivity.

Well it was nice getting the newsletter in my e mail but concerning that there was no news on DW. Currently we are just speculating but it would be nice to have better news I didn't get the newsletter! I filled in the form on the Cubicle7 site, pressed enter, the page said confirmed and I never received it. (Added icontact.com to the whitelist of my spam filter.) Thinking I've made a mistake, I filled the form out again. Still no newsletter. I can't wait till April 2012. (Only recently bought and found out about the Tenth Doctor Set, so I haven't been waiting very long.) I am more excited about the supplements: Defending the Earth, Time Travellers Companion and that "Moffat in a box" thing. Can't really justify myself buying the 11th set because AFAIK it is basically the same as the tenth.

I think they're planning on releasing a pdf just covering the additional material - so the new monsters, adventures, etc - that wasn't in the 10th Doctor edition. That was certainly the plan at one point.

Let's just hope that the plans are a little more than fond hopes never realised.

That was certainly the plan at one point. Yeah, I remember reading that somewhere, although they haven't mentioned it recently (I didn't listen to the podcasts). However I don't normally buy PDFs, I like physical products. Despite all the delays, whenever I see a Cubicle7 product I want to buy it. Unfortunately for them and fortunately for my wallet, the wanting doesn't always turn into buying . It's just that DW:AiTaS was such a fantastic product. Bit disappointed that I missed the first newsletter, but it seems I didn't miss a lot of news about Doctor Who. It might help that I haven't been waiting as long as some of you here.

So, the news are finally here... and they are : NO NEWS. I don't want to play Cassandra here but doesn't it feel like C7 is "fading out" of Dwaitas... as if they were trying to prepare us for some Really Bad News in a few months ? I sincerely hope I'm wrong... You may be glad to know you are indeed very wrong :-) There is no plan to drop the license and no danger of the BBC taking it away as the books haven't come out yet. The stuff just keeps getting stuck in the eternal bottleneck, but it is squeezing towards the surface.

Corone,
any chance of seeing any of the GenCon adventures? Or, if memory serves, your Sally Sparrow adventure? either in the new set or as pdf freebies? seems like releases like that might remind people that the game is coming and build up interest in it [and make the longtime and long-waiting fans happy]

Mind you, that doesn't count for my Sally Sparrow adventure, although I've asked the marvelous Nathaniel to put them on proper character sheets for me as we'll be doing more conventions next year. So I can probably post those as they aren't official.

Hey everyone.
Still waiting with breathless anticipation of the 11th Doctor Edition. I keep putting off getting the 10th Doctor Ed. I may just go ahead and buy it.

Just a tip, I feel they didn't make very clear: you should add cubicle7.com or newsletter@cubicle7.com to your spam-filter and not icontact.com.They had this to say about the delays:

As long as they are permitted to do so by the BBC, certainly. If not, then not.

Though frankly it's difficult to believe that a licence holder is not permitted to publicise forthcoming products. All other companies that produce Doctor Who items do so.

It does sound ridiculous, but then I suspect that things work differently with RPGs. I doubt you could go on a Who toy-makers website and check their forum to ask the designers how long it will be till the new dolls come out. I doubt that this kind of talk with updates (however limited) from the people actually working on the products happens in every industry.

On the plus side, my own custom product arrived yesterday It turned out to be cheaper for me to get my colour character sheets and play aids printed in a book format from a print on demand website. The hardcover book arrived and I carefully removed the pages. The cover is now going to be a custom GM screen just for my convention game

Thanks for posting that. The link was a bit wonky, but I figured my way around it in G+. The Heroes and Allies book looks great, too!

The new C7 newsletter is out. Still no love for DWAITAS. Unfortunately, it doesn't do a lot to change the opinions of those who think DWAITAS has been abandoned.

Yes,depressing really-absolutely no news on Dr Who-plenty of other things slotted for Early 2012 I'm a big C7 fan. I support C7 to the best of my ability. Unfortunately, i run up against people who feel that C7 has abandoned DWAITAS in favor of other games like One Ring. Each newsletter with no DWAITAS info makes my job harder.
