Are they shipping from the US or the UK? US shipping, I have a chance of expecting it this week. UK shipping to Alaska, God only knows.

Mine arrived today, from Essex. So the answer would appear to be both.

Got mine, just in time for the demo this weekend!
I always wonder how things are going to look in hardcopy format and have been holding my breath waiting for this to come out. But I'm happy to say I can exhale! She's a beaut!
I only hope the TTC looks half as good...

Its nice to see the game line moving again - ordered my copy from Leisure Games yesterday (don't really need it, since I have the previous edition, but thought I'd show some support!)
Does anyone know if the new GM Screen is still going ahead, and whereabouts that sits in the release schedule?

Did anyone who got their copy already get a shipping notice? I haven't gotten either the game or a notice that it's shipped yet.

I did not receive any sort of shipping notice. I'd just seen some online announcements week before last, and last week mine came in. Also, the game appears to be showing up elsewhere now: FRPGames has it in stock

Does anyone know if the new GM Screen is still going ahead, and whereabouts that sits in the release schedule? GM's screens are a bit tricky as Dom needs to get them from a special printer and needs to do a bulk order. So we are putting together a mass order of screens for several lines. This means its on the schedule but it might be a while as we have to have all the screens ready before we can print them.

If its all the lines, I guess I'll be getting it alongside the TOR one then! Looking forward to the next block of releases!

I ordered mine on Saturday.
I got an email yesterday saying it had been dispatched.
It arrived today, here in Derbyshire.
That's pretty good service!
Plus, the thing itself is frickin' ace. Solid, better box, nice looking stuff inside. What more could you ask for?

Got mine last week. Couldn't see any changes to rules though. Did I miss anything?

I think it's more about clarifications than changes. Plus, the Skill gadget Trait. And the entirely new formatting and art, and all the new textual examples.

I still think C7 need to get more exposure to the game. This needs to be on the shelves of high Street stores like W.H Smiths, etc.
Also I noticed that it was not listed as a release on the Doctor Who Online website, which is a great online resource for all thing WHO. I contacted the owner Seb and he said that he was aware of the release but C7 had not returned any of his e-mails regarding it. I thought C7 were supposed to have a new marketing guy? Geeks are the best way to spread the word, so surely places like DWO would be perfect places to promote it.

That's appalling. Who is doing their marketing?

When you mention PR, I hope you are not under the misapprehention Cubicle 7 has a PR dept. :-) It is just Dom in the office! This was from earlier in this thread.

That's appalling. Who is doing their marketing? In addition to art director, Jon is doing a lot of the marketing, and he's doing a very fine job, especially considering what else he has on his plate. I'll pass on Doctor Who online as some mails can easily get lost in Dom's mountain of correspondance. :-) However, I should also mention that the BBC is rightfully very strict about the licence and there are many things we cannot do without their go ahead. This even covers where we can advertise and what we can say. There are many fan sites that might seem a no-brainer to advertise on. However, many are not actually BBC approved which means we cannot connect our licence to them in any way. I have no idea what approval DW Online might have, so I'm just citing another possible reason. Essentially, we have to be very, very careful what we do or we risk losing the licence. As you might imagine, the BBC is very, very serious about the use and misuse of one of their most popular properties. This isn't a bad thing, in fact its a very good thing they care so much, it just does make some aspects of the process trickier.

Just to emphasize the "finger's in pies" problem Andy mentioned, go to the Cubicle 7 website and count all the lines and the products in those lines and then imagine one guy handling all of that business and one other guy doing all the art AND the marketing for them. You may then get some idea of the monumental task that is running Cubicle 7.
Heck, I'm writing, editing, laying out and doing graphic design for products for one of their largest licenses and even I can't just expect Dom to drop everything he's doing to answer me every time I have a question. Instead, I collect them, schedule a time to chat with him and then we go over it all at once.
Dom is great, but he is just one man and the intertubes are massive and sprawling, so sometimes, folks get missed. Nature of the beast, I'm afraid...

Corone & Pertwee For one reason or another people (including me) think that Cubicle7 is bigger than it actually is. I think it has to do with the huge range of high-quality products and high profile licenses. It creates this image of a big company with lots of employees, obviously not as big as Wizards of the Coast, but still more than the handful that it is in reality. So when things happen or not happen, you are judged as if you were Wizards of the Coast and not the small group of hard working (overworked?) people. If you really are overworked, make sure none of you get a burn-out or something similar. Keep up the good work! You got me back into the hobby.

What garethl just said. I also thought the company was much bigger, as the products are very well made. Very impressive guys.

Well, most of the stuff you'll need is on the flip side of the character sheets. If I were to add anything, it would be the Tech Level table (35), Task Ratings Table (40), Hit Location Table (51), Marksman and Armour Tables (53), Chase Summary (63) and Terrain Modifiers (60).
If you have room, the Story Point Guidelines on pg.65 and the Technobabble table on pg.143 might come in handy as well.
If you own the Time Traveller's Companion, you can add the Random Temporal Backlash and modifiers tables (188 & 189), the Space-Time Navigation modifiers (65) and TARDIS modifiers (76) but the rest is pretty east to reference in the back of the book or on the TARDIS and Generic TTC sheets.
