Hello all,
As the title suggests, I noticed one of the biggest drawbacks in both editions' versions of the character sheets, and that's the ability to include all the information that you generate during character creation.
Most notably, skill specialisations and Traits/Distinctions as well as Experience points.
The 2nd edition makes some space for skill specialisations and that's appreciated, but what if there's more than one? And where does one note the bonuses for such on both versions of the sheet?
I noticed using fillable PDF forms that you'd often have to use the Notes section to cover Traits/Distinctions to cover them all (as sometimes you definitely need those descriptions, am I right?) and whilst the 2nd Edition does make some room for Experiences, there's no distinction between personal and group.
Has anyone done or know of a more comprehensive sheet that would service 1st Edition particularly?
I'd love to know.
S.

Well, if I don't see any responses from designers, I might try my own hand at creating one or modifying one to suit.
I think a two page sheet at this point seems the most logical, I can't envision all the information being contained to one page.

Would this be a step in the right direction? I redid the skills section to give it more room for Areas of Expertise. Is the font and layout okay? And yes, the final version will be smaller.

I think so, but then you'll be needing to put everything else on the sheet as well, which in your version looks to be running to two pages? I do have a version of my own underway but with two versions, one to keep as your record and another s a scratch sheet to record skill and trait usage. S.

Just thought I'd get back to you all on this front; I hereby present my work in progress, a 1st and 2nd Edition compatible character sheet with room for Specialisations, Experience Points of both kinds and plenty of space to move around in. I am working on a 'scratch sheet' which just adds buttons on the skills and traits so you can click or tick a space to keep track of things. I wanted to try and keep everything on one page. Character sheetThis version is about done, the scratch version just needs cleaning up. S.

BTW, What software did you design it in?

BTW, What software did you design it in? Adobe Acrobat Pro for the fields, but I used a free software called Photopea for the original image layering. The screenshot is literally from the current seasons' opening credit sequence and layering on the current show logo to clip onto the sheet fields are the highlight for me.

Okay! I had to teach myself a bit more about how to properly use Adobe Acrobat but I have all the fields for both sheets cleaned up and I'll put this up in the Resources forum also. The first sheet allows you to fill it out as per a normal character sheet along with room for specialistations, and has sections for both Distinctions/Traits and personal and group experiences along with Conditions. The second sheet is what old timers like me call a 'scratch sheet' where you would write down Please give feedback! The style is 14th-15th Doctor of course. Custom character sheetsS.
