Cubicle 7 have announced Doctor Who: Sixty Years of Adventure Volumes 1 and 2 to celebrate the sixtieth anniversary. Volume 1 will cover the First to Eighth Doctors, with Volume 2 to cover The War Doctor to The Fugitive Doctor. As well as reliving their adventures, there will be a new scenario for each incarnation that link together to form an epic multi-Doctor experience. Preorders for both volumes to go live "very soon".

Is this going to be like a sort of sourcebook compendium or omnibus for the previous Doctors, but updated for the 2nd edition? This line seems to point to it:
"These books relive the fantastic adventures of our favourite Time Lord and their trusted companions."
Not to mention that the previous sourcebooks have been out of stock on their website for awhile (and possibly out of print as well).

Interesting. Condense and update from the 1-13 sourcebooks, bringing everything up to the 2nd Edition ruleset. Look forward to seeing them, good to see they're actually timing this for the 60th anniversary rather than their usual "Hey, look, here's the new edition of the game with the new Doctor's branding" about a week after that doctor has announced their retirement and here's their replacement with the new branding.

Is this basically just a reissue of the various Doctor sourcebooks?

Is this basically just a reissue of the various Doctor sourcebooks? Cubicle 7 have replied to a similar question on Facebook: "Yes, it does reuse some of the rapidly-going-out-of-print old Doctor Sourcebooks material. However, it does provide Second Edition stats for all of the Doctors and many of their companions. There are new adventures that tie together to create a massive, multipart, multi-Doctor story. There's a revised section on Regeneration for Second Edition rules new summaries of the Doctor's adventures, and some lovely new artwork. We think they're well worth the purchase even if you have the previous books!"

Looks like it's not worth it for me then - we only play 1e.

While I do still frequently use 1e, I'll still be picking this up, if only for the adventures. Because I cannot help but love pre-written adventures, I'm a big sucker for them.

Same for me honestly, even though I have never actually ran any of them besides Stormfront (which I do recall being a blast). I simply enjoy reading through them, and while I don't play 2e I am curious as to how Regeneration will work in the 2e rules

An excellent scenario, lots of possibiities for starting a campaign off it.

Yes I mean Stormrise, its been at least 3 years since I last looked at the title of it and I've slept at least once since then so I forgot

They're both available for purchase now. I'm unable to skim through the contents of the PDFs as I'm currently at work right now.
