Invasion of the Bane
Long Live the Queen. With the death of the Bane Mother, there is now a power vacuum between the Bane Kindred still stuck on Earth. Earth is now a battleground between warring factions fighting for their own successor. UNIT is completely unaware of this alien conflict at their very doors. Which Bane faction will win? But whoever wins, humanity loses.
Revenge of the Siltheen
Hunt of the Siltheen. On a distant planet, far away from the jurisdiction of the Shadow Proclamation the Siltheen have sent up a hunting reserve. The Siltheen serve the great and the good to hunt the most deadliest game, their fellow sentient beings from across the stars. Now the characters find themselves stuck on a reserve planet, can they survive the hunt?
Eye of the Gorgon
Church of the Gorgon. For over two centuries the nuns of Saint Agnes Abbey have been enslaved by the will of the Gorgon. Over these centuries the nuns of the Gorgon have been pushing their church into a different direction, abandoning Jehovah and embracing the worship of the Gorgon. All of England remains cultists to the Gorgon, desperate to open the portal and let them conquer the Earth.
Warriors of Kudlak
All Quiet on the Horsehead Nebula. The characters find themselves in the height of the Ghost Wars, in the mud of an Uvodni trench. The troops are awaiting reinforcements, but the vampiric hordes are about to overwhelm this position. This defeat is a fixed point in time. Can the characters do anything to help and should they?
Whatever Happened to Sarah Jane?
Rise of the Silurians. What if asteroid K67 impacted with Earth? A mass extinction would have followed from the pure devastation. However, not everything would have died, beneath the surface the Silurians were re-awoken, now they can reclaim their beloved planet. Can the character return to their original timeline? But will their escape destroy this reality?
The Lost Boy
The Other Archetype. Luke Smith was not the only test subject created by the Bane. Countless other archetypes were created during their experiments before being discarded. But one other survived. They’re similar to Luke, but somethings are different. What’s more important nature or nurture? Can this other archetype find a found family, or are they doomed to be an outcast?

Long Live the Queen. I like this! Plenty of opportunities for a multi-sided war, involving UNIT, Torchwood and numerous other factions, each allying with elements of the Bane. Much covert activity and a gritty background.
Hunt of the Siltheen. A classic theme from sci-fi. Perhaps there's a wormhole, or other link, connecting the hunting grounds to present day Earth, so you can link the scenario to nd Earthbound campaign.
Church of the Gorgon. My first thought is the film version of The Lair of the White Worm. Though there are similarities to elements of Call of Cthulhu, with suborned mainstream churches.
Nice ideas koscheimaster.

I always thought the Gorgons would be interesting lurking within a Garden Centre something like that or some garden on an alien world, kind of a trick thinking it might be weeping angels but nope its a Gorgon instead.

I like it! A campaign filled to the brim with espionage and intrigue. Where no one is quite who they seem. And as we saw in a later episode, even the higher ranks of UNIT have been infiltrated by the odd member of Bane Kind. You could possibly even infer after said adventure, that the techniques that UNIT would use to determine who or who isn’t a shape changer would be used and refined to greater effect the following decade come the rise of the fanatical Zygon sect.
Personally, one aspect I’ve always wondered about is Mr Smith. Surely he can’t have been the only Xylok to be unearthed in Earth’s history…

The Last Sontaran Revenge of Sontar. A significant number of rogue battleships from the Tenth Sontaran Battle Fleet are on a course for the Sol System. They intended to take revenge for General Staal’s infamous defeat. Can the character stop the Sontarans from glassing the Earth?
The Day of the Clown Night of the Clown. The Jeggorabax energy entity known as the Pied Piper has been on Earth since 1284, feeding on people’s fear by stealing children and consuming their souls. Over the centuries, the entity has travelled the world, but it has a limited in its proximity to the Weserbergland meteorite. The characters find themselves in the middle of the Pied Piper’s hunt. Can the characters save the disappeared children? Can they stop this malicious motusvore (emotion eater)?
Secret in the Stars Zodiac. The Ancient Lights continue to patiently wait on the edge of reality, biding their time for the next cosmic conjunction. Earth may not have been conquered, but countless worlds across the Universe may have already fallen into the Ancient Light’s enthrallment. A UFO has crashed and an alien figure has emerged proclaiming to be the Avatar of the Ancient Lights.
The Mark of the Berserker Blood of the Berserker. The Berserker pendants were actually constructed by the Mire. The Mire used the mutagenic properties of the pendants as a way to increase the testosterone and adrenaline of the primitive humans that wore them. Anyone who survived the Mire’s harvest may have passed on a mutated Berserker gene, their descendants could be a genetic time bomb waiting to go off.
The Temptation of Sarah Jane The Game of the Trickster. The Trickster can open time fissures to tempt his targets into changing history. The characters come across a seemingly random time fissure, that connects to a pivotal moment from one of their lives. Can the players resist the temptation to change history? What will the repercussions be if time is rewritten?
The Enemy of the Bane The Horath Heresy. Horath the immortal tyrant of the Dark Empire was defeated by the intervention of the Time Lords of Gallifrey. Horath was imprisoned in Shada, with no intention of release. But since Time Lords vanished from the Universe there is no one guarding the inmates of Shada. Now Horath is free and he plans to conquer the Mutter Spiral once more.

I rather like the idea that due to changing their history via one of the Trickster’s Time fissure, they end up becoming a worse threat than the Trickster himself! Think the Time Trapper from D.C. Comics as an example.

Although he feeds and draws strength from chaos, he may end up feeding off himself. Not to mention accidentally necessitating the creation of several alternate selves. Perhaps even a “good” Trickster who could serve as an ally to the PCs?

Followed no doubt by a cluster of other Temporal Predators such as Chronovores, Vortisaurs and for some reason, a very perplexed Delibird. You could even fit in an appearance by an unnamed Sapphire and Steel who take the Trickster in hand, spiriting him away to some great prison or to receive “treatment”

You have various options there: -Androvax is on the run and the characters must catch him, trying to figure out where, or in who he's hiding. -Androvax is involved in the story, but it's only revealed near the climax that he was possessing one of the players all along. -The characters actually try to help Androvax escape and let him possess a member of the team in an attempt to hide him.

It adds that element of body horror.Possessing a series of humans in an attempt to obscure the trail for his pursuers, who are killed off in very odd ways, leading to a UNIT investigation perhaps? Thanks. I think there is a lot of fun you can have with that character, particulary when he has to act like he's the actual person he's possessing and with limited knowledge. That can become something comedic, but you can also go an entirely different route and make it very dark.

Hmm, a bit OT but I see a weird case for the Misfit Mob. They're assigned to track down a temporal signature, from a crude time machine. After several repetitions the track it to somewhere.
Only to find the operator dead from odd piercing wounds, her machine smashed, the room sealed and it's corners smoothed with plaster and traces of an odd ichor.
Naturally the remains of the machine are taken to base. That's when the Hound reappears, seeking the chronos crystal at the heart of the gadget.....

That can become something comedic, but you can also go an entirely different route and make it very dark. Continuing from my previous post, I like to give a possible story example of the first part that I mentioned: Androvax is back at Bannerman Road and searching for certain documents that have information about something he's looking for (like a spaceship, or a powerful artifact, or maybe even the location of certain person). He figures out that Rani has some of the information he's looking for a sneaks into her house to look for it. The house is empty, except for one room where Rani's dad, Haresh, is putting on a dinner suit, planning to go to a restaurant for dinner with another family that he and Gita are close friends with. Before Androvax can reach Rani's room, he is startled by the sound of the door opening and quickly takes possession of Haresh in order to hide himself. This is not exactly his greatest choice as Gita just arrived home and is urging Haresh to get into the car as they're late for their dinner. Does Androvax end up having to spend the night at a restaurant having dinner and striking up conversations with people he doesn't know, or does he manages to escape? And what happens when Sarah Jane and the kids figure out what's happening? Of course, you can take many directions with this, but this was a story that popped up in my head this morning and I felt it was worth to share here.

You could even take it one step further and say that Androvax had been injured beforehand (Swamp Viper poison, anyone?) and so he has to remain within Haresh to stave off its effects. Actually, I feel like Androvax is a character worth revisiting if only to become a recurring character. His sequel story proves he is far more complicated than at first glance and he could easily be the main PC in a campaign of his own. A true space epic where he goes on a quest for redemption with the potential to include other elements from the Whoniverse. Or even a more traditional one where he remains on the run from The Shadow Proclamation. I like to imagine a The Fugitive type situation where the likes of Death's Head is hired to hunt him down. Naturally, at the end of said campaign and possibly in some response to some greater threat the pair have to team up.

And if you use the Swamp Viper poison idea, then maybe it could even play on the character's conciousness. If we taken the plot I mentioned, for example, then maybe Androvax might die if he leaves a human body and Rani doesn't want to cause someone's death, be they human or alien. On the other hand, she wants her dad back, facing a moral dilemma. Or if the possession takes to long, the original host of the body will die and it will become a permanent body for Androvax, putting the characters on a race against time.

Then later on in said campaign, whoever is trying to get to Androvax calls in Death’s Head seeing it as more advantageous to have a mechanical opponent who he cannot possibly possess. In either case, I rather like the idea that when Androvax helps take down the greater threat he is rewarded by Vienna by giving him a few minutes headstart before she starts pursuing him again.

Prisoner of the Judoon Crime and Punishment. A colossal Judoon prison transporter has crashed. Dozens of alien criminals now roam the streets of Earth, some have taken sanctuary in the Underground. Now the Judoon have charged the Earth with harbouring fugitives, the punishment will be total extinction. Can you stop the Judoon before it’s too late. Was the crash an accident or did UNIT shoot it down or was it a prison riot? Can you round up the convicts? Or are they actually innocent and these Judoon are unjust mercenaries?
The Mad Woman in the Attic Futures Yet to Be. Somehow the characters get to see visions of the future, approximately 40 years in time. However, something is obviously wrong with their futures (be it missing loved ones, unavoidable stress, or an upcoming trauma). Will the characters attempt to change their predestination? Or do they meet their destiny on the road they take to avoid it?
The Wedding of Sarah Jane The Trickster’s Trap. The characters find themselves stuck in a time loop, the only way out is to agree to the Trickster’s deal. Surrendering themselves to the eternal servitude of the Trickster. However, as the time loop keeps repeating the world gets smaller and the time loop gets shorter. Can the characters escape certain doom? Will they be forever bound to the Trickster?
The Eternity Trap The Ghost Hunter. The characters find themselves working alongside the Pharos Institute in their latest paraphysical experiment. The Pharos Institute wants to capture a paranormal entity, a real ghost. Can you capture a ghost? Or is this a wild goose chase?
Mona Lisa’s Revenge The Madness of Giuseppe di Cattivo. The characters uncover a lost journal of the forgotten renaissance painter, Giuseppe di Cattivo. Legend says that his journal is full of sketches of unholy monstrosities that can leap off the page. Can you destroy the eldritch illustrations?
The Gift Crops of Hope. A rogue biochemical company has recovered samples of the rakweed incident. They intend to genetically engineer the rakweed and inhibit its toxic spores. This would make rakweed a cheap sustainable crop that could grow anywhere; this would also make the company billions. Should you inform UNIT about the situation? Or could rakweed be used for good? Or is there a conspiracy trying to cover up the purpose of their experiments?

Given the adaption ofThe Star Beast, what about a version of that story using a plotline more akin to the original comic. Perhaps with one of the kids discovering the Meep.

Considering her age I feel like Sky would be perfect as the child who discovers Meep. Considering her intended link with the Trickster, who knows what exposure to Black Star radiation could do to her? The Meep might have bitten off more than he can chew when it comes to this encounter.
