I may have asked this before in which case I forgot the answer sorry.
I was thinking about the late Smith/Capaldi console room with the two extra side panels with more controls and I can't recall them ever being actually used. Does anyone else remember an episode where he actually used those side panels or are they just decorative with neither regeneration ever actually using the buttons on them?

Hmmm I thought the TARDIS wasn't in that in a meaningful sense but I've a personal dislike of the Clara/Capaldi dynamic so I'll rewatch it thanks.

Unless I'm mistaken he doesn't use them there (may have missed something was skimming for Tardis scenes). He does work on tech near one when Danny and he have their "Sir your an arrogant chinless wonder sir" scene (I miss the goodies) however it looks like he's put a wooden desk in front of it and is actually working at that not using the console itself.

No problem I was actively looking for them (I think they're just decorative and never get used) and I still was only able to tell by a brief side on shot where you see the wooden desk is in front of it on most of the shots it does look like he's doing work at one. I appreciate your trying to help. |
