I will be ruining an adventure and am trying to find info on silurians. I'll be working with them and humans. Or rather their history, maybe. Not totally sure what's going on yet My questions are: Did their culture have a written language. I think I saw somewhere that they were telepathic
And I can't seem to find info on Tuloks death? Did he go back into hibernation?
Any link on Tulok info would be appreciated
Thank you

I would assume the Silurians have a written language as not all their sub-species are telepathic (and telepathy doesn't preclude a written language anyway). As for Tulok, we covered him in The Sixth Doctor Expanded Universe Sourcebook, so you can find game stats and background for him there. His fate is described in the Doctor Who Reference Guide for Bloodtide: www.drwhoguide.com/who_bf22.htm

Hmm, given that "Silurian" seems to cover a number of sub-species, so there could be a lot of variation in direct communications; aural, including frequencies beyond human hearing, colour changes and body language come to mind.
However for durability and record keeping, unless there is some form of telepathic storage, then some form of 'offline' language would be necessary, otherwise information would be lost with the death of an individual. Then again this could be different to human writing, perhaps partially or entirely tactile rather than visual?

BTW there's always the possibility of telepathic memories being stored in some form (psionically resonant crystal?) that could survive to become a plot device...
