I GM D&D, and the New Star Wars games, but for the life of me I cannot make heads or tailes with the Knight of the Comet or Ashes of the Darleks from the box set. I tried to find any audio or YouTube video to figure out the Doctor Who GM adventure stories, so I can wrap my arms around it--unable to find one. I tired downloading other adventure stories, and they are just as confusing to run. I like the Doctor who Lego series, and can see the possibility of how to run it--but there isn't a pdf file to follow along to understand how to GM it. There is nothing in the game box to show you how to run the adventure, to show you when the GM talks to set up the story, or cubical 7 made any youtub videos how to run the box set.
Can someone point me in the right direction, hate to sell the system before getting a chance to play it.

Hmm, I've re-read Knight of the Comet and I don't think it's too bad. It could certainly do with some aides for playing the module, like the old FASA flowcharts.
A few points:
1. How are the players involved in the business? This is mainly determined by the nature of the PCs. Are they time travellers? An Earthbound group such as Torchwood or UNIT? Random people dragged into matters? The basic assumption in the module is that they're in present-day Tintagel when an artefact is unearthed.
2. The main story is a minor paradox created by a time traveller. Morgana's damaged Vortex Manipulator strands her in Cornwall in an unspecified medieval period in human history. The VM is buried and found in the present day by the party, who are sucked back in time and become enmeshed in Morgana's scheme.
3. Morgana is seeking to attract people with access to advanced technology in order to escape. Meanwhile she's meddling with history (e.g. the cannon and gunpowder). She'll try and manipulate the PCs to help her escape. How much of her story do they accept?
4. The secondary story is a crashed Cyber-ship causing a few locals (knights) to become 'infected' with Cyber-technology further complicating matters and screening some of Morgana's plan. The PCs need to resolve this by eliminating the ship and the Cyber-knights.

Thank you Catsmate for the kind and mindful response, I'll copy your notes and go over the adventure to clear up some of the mechanics of the storyline.
