Hi All
I'm a new GM to the game, just bought the 50th Anniversary limited edition book over the weekend. I'm wanting to start a quick adventure with my friends in the next week or so. We decided to do pre-loaded characters to begin with to get familiar with the game, unfortunately my 3 buddies all want to be the doctor (Smith, Tennant, Hurt), so I'm now in search of possibly an adventure that already handles this?
I was hoping to use a pre-made adventure since I am also a new GM just to get a little experience before writing my own.
Any help with this?
Thanks
JRS

Hmm, I don't know of any pre-written scenario with multiple doctors

I can't think of any adventures specifically written for multiple Doctors either. There is however an introductory adventure available for free from RPGNow: ArrowdownArrowdown was one of the adventures in the original 10th Doctor boxed set, but I don't think is included in the Limited Edition rulebook. It's a fun introduction to the game and would allow you to get used to the rules. Why not have a look at it and see whether you'd be happy to run it for multiple Doctors?

If you want some continuity, then explain that the adventure takes place during The Day of The Doctor, while they are inside the painting, waiting to step into the Black Archive.
Read them something like this before the adventure:
“You are inside the painting of ‘Gallifrey Falls’, waiting for the right moment to emerge into the Black Archive. The scenes of carnage around you within the fallen city of Arcadia are harrowing. However, it is thankfully only a slice of time, captured in a moment. Just then, amongst the debris and ruin of a demolished building, a strange glowing circle of light appears. It seems to beckon towards you, urging you towards it. Someone, or something is summoning you. Before you can react, you are shockingly aware you are stepping through it…and you emerge…”
Then describe the first scene in your adventure.
After the adventure (or end of Campaign):
“Just then, a familiar light appears before you. It is the glowing circle of light, urging you back into the painting. You must fulfil your destinies. Walk towards the light…and back into the course of events you know must be.”
If you intend to run a campaign with all three doctors, have them emerge into a new adventure.
Note that all three Doctors having a TARDIS each will be difficult to keep track of, so if they really want one, give them one to share. You can spice it up by having the desktop theme short out when each one uses it, as the TARDIS flicks to the appropriate theme of the specific Doctor at the console.
More continuity:
Who is manipulating them?
To keep it simple: it’s a force for good. The White Guardian is omnipotent enough to do this. Certain imbalances within the Time Streams need correcting. Only all three Doctors can do this, and now the perfect chance has come for him to use them, without upsetting the order of things too much (since they are already together).
The Black Guardian can be the opposing force, trying to make use of the Time War for his own ends.
You can have this as the ‘Season Arc’. Drop a cryptic clue each adventure. You need not even have each Guardian appear, as they act in the background. Even more cryptically, don't reveal them at all, and try to have the players figure it out themselves.
If you run published adventures or make some up, increase the threat a bit more in them to account for having three powerful characters. You can really make them quite epic and grand in scale. It's basically a very tense and dramatic campaign to begin with because none of the Doctor's must die or regenerate. That would be a terrible Paradox...
Good luck and have fun!

Another possibility is three versions of the same Doctor, from slightly different universes. Or use the Hurt/Smith/Tennant (who no Eccelstone ) stats and personalties as different Doctors from different Universes. They've been dragged together by something weird; if you use Arrowdown for example it was the Rift that caused their TARDISes to materialise in the town. Cue suspicions and uncertainty ("Just whose universe is it anyway?"). You could add a couple of minor differences as well, Hurt's Doctor travelling with Sarah-Jane, Smith's Doctor with Rose and Ricky and Tennant's Doctor with Zoe for example, or different external appearances for their TARDISes (Red police box? Doric column? Phone box?).

Actually Steven Moffat and Chris Eccelston have said multiple times that they talked about Chris returning to fill in the War Doctor Role and while he did like some ideas, he ultimately politely declined instead leading to him agreeing only to allow himself to be portrayed via archive footage and that the regeneration scene would be partly shown to avoid confusion that he'd actually been there.
THAT SAID, the new Ninth Doctor comic from Titan Comics is out soon, featuring Jack and Rose so I'm sure it'll be quite "fantastic!"
