Okay, I'm gonna post this here because I've obviously been blocked with my Three Universes games, so I'm gonna be posting some campaign ideas and overviews for the Female Doctor Universe, and as such, I will post the Three Universes game sometime around next year, when life has settled down. Anyways, here's the beginning overview and a little bit about the First Doctor and her grandson, Saul:
Overview:
The Doctor. We always know him as a Time Lord. But what if...what if in 1963, a different type of Doctor was created? In a world where most of history was genderbent (save for the female and male actors and actresses who will portray the Doctor and her companions), Cindy Newman and Valentine Lambert created 'Doctor Who' a new science fiction series that would play with history and science-fiction, blending it in a way unlike anything seen before.
The First Doctor was portrayed by Margaret Rutherford, who originally brought a fierce and strict schoolteacher personality to the role, but later softened into a kind-hearted grandmother whom everyone felt safe with. Her grandson, Saul was portrayed by soon-to-be Monkee's Star, Davey Jones. In a Pre-Monkees 1960s, Davy Jones was an actor, singer and, considering his short stature, a jockey! He had appeared in a couple of acting roles prior to playing in the Monkees, but it might not have been possible to gain such recognition without the role of Saul Foreman. He was kind, but not afraid to demand when his grandmother do something, although he eventually found himself in love during the infamous Dalek Invasion of Earth, and when he found himself hopelessly in love with 22nd Century Earth Freedom Fighter, Dana Campbell, The Doctor felt it best to leave her grandson behind rather than let him continue on with a silly old woman like herself.
(More to follow...)
Adventures to be found:
The Female Doctors will be seen in the Three Universes, but suppose the players find themselves trapped within this world via some mishap in the TARDIS (The Doctor tries to refuel, but an unexpected twist causes the companions to be thrust into this alternate world). They can either appear in the past, and have to refrain from mentioning anything about the Doctor's future (even though their Doctor is male, this is still a Doctor, and of course future knowledge can be bad unless used correctly such as the Last Day of the Time War). What happens if someone learns of their fate on another world? What would they do with it? Furthermore, perhaps the companions land in this world's present with the female version of their Doctor, along with the doppelgänger of themselves. How has being born a different gender changed the companions? Do they have a family relative who died in their universe, but due to the gender-swapping of this one, technically still exists? In my Three Universes Game, Clark Oswald recounts the time his Father died while he was a teenager, and thus grew up with his mother. Clara tells her counterpart that he is lucky at least because of her mother dying, and the two understand each other. A third possibility is that they arrive in this world's future where they encounter a new female (or Male, given the Missy revelation that's happened recently,) Doctor. Since mine is set during the Eleventh Doctor's era, perhaps a sneak peak into Female Twelve's would create problems, as Eleven is supposed to be the last.
