In doing my write-ups for Six Million Dollar Man & Bionic Woman, I saw that the game mechanics aren't written up for some of the powers Steve and Jamie have--jumping doesn't come up at all in DWAiTaS, and running is done in non-mathematical "areas." So here's my proposal: animals, aliens, cyborgs, and others with "gateway" traits can acquire multiples of Run for Your Life. Each multiple allows one to run in 10 mph increments. Steve, at Run for Your Life x4, can run at 50 mph. Jamie, at x5, runs at 60 mph. A cheetah would have Run for Your Life x6, being able to run at a top speed (but not sustained speed) of 70 mph. Max, the bionic dog, has Run for Your Life x8; he can run at 90 mph! Now, what about areas? At this point, the Coordination score is really a non-sequitur. Run for Your Life! x2 (30 mph) is obviously faster than the fastest human alive, who would have a Coordination of 6 and a 1 point bonus for Run for Your Life! Since they could go 7 areas per round, and that's about 21 mph (Usain Bolt's record being 23 mph), that leaves us characters who can run: x2 (30 mph) = 10 areas/round x3 (40 mph) = 13 areas/round x4 (50 mph) = 17 areas/round x5 (60 mph) = 20 areas/round x6 (70 mph) = 23 areas/round x7 (80 mph) = 27 areas/round x8 (90 mph) = 30 areas/round This concept becomes very important when you recall that according to scientists, the T. rex could indeed reach a peak speed of 60 mph. Okay, that's my idea. Attack at will.
