If the show rebrands for Peter Capaldi they will likely require the new trade dress (packaging design) be used by license users. But I don't know if that requires C7 to redo the core game or just the forthcoming supplements.

As far as I'm aware there are currently no plans to rebrand for the 12th Doc, but if we do it probably won't be until next year so shouldn't affect much anyway. If we do it will be a far swifter process as having regenerated before it gets a lot easier next time around! Given the Doctor Sourcebooks are all based in the look of their era, any rebrand shouldn't change the current schedule for releasing them.

When did the 11th Doctor Edition come out, relative to the 11th Doctor's run? Over two years after Matt's debut appearance at the end of The End of Time. The Eleventh Hour was broadcast on 3rd April 2010 and the 11th Doctor edition was released (in pdf format) in March 2012.
