Albert Einstein is a renegade time Lord that was on for a few years while he worked on a way to repair his broken TARDIS. That basically needed a new power supply. It took him several years to come up with a solution to his problem he eventually came up with the theory of relativity which allowed him in time to create a new power source for the TARDIS that would work. Many of his theories and also benefited mankind. And he also did some theories to try to keep mankind from inventing time travel.
This is an idea that I came up with kind of an alternative history idea about what if Albert Einstein was a time Lord it would make for an interesting campaign idea tell me what you all think any ideas are welcome.

I think it's a nice idea. Einstein's theories had a significant effect on our technological progress and way of thinking. I like the idea that he introduced the Theory of Relativity as a way of getting humans to develop the technology needed for his TARDIS repairs. Basically, it sounds like a fun idea. But when he regenerates, does he turn into Young Einstein (apologies - the concept of a regenerating Einstein just reminded me of that movie). |

I like the idea of when he regenerates he ends up as yahoo serious from the movie Young Einstein

Put a whole new spin on the scene in "Time and the Rani" when Einstein is inside the Doctor's TARDIS.
For starters he was marooned on Earth, capture by an evil Time Lord, taken to an alien planet, rescued by the Doctor, and then marooned on Earth again - by the Doctor!

On a side note of this idea Stephen Hawking is also a time Lord that has reached the end of his regenerative cycle and therefore cannot regenerate anymore. And maybe him and Einstein could team up with the Doctor to save the world from the master.
