Hi I'm new to the forum and being a GM. I was planning a campaign for my group, mostly new players, and was wondering what you guys thought. Its based around Jenny finding the Junk TARDIS from the Doctor's Wife- I do explain how it wasn't deleted, and her and some companions bouncing through time trying to fix it. What do you think. P.S Any tips for GMing or planning a campaign would be more than welcome. Neokexx

Hello, welcome aboard.
Jenny's a good loose continuity strand to use, if you have a suitable player. All the Doctor's insatiable curiosity and very little of his overwhelming knowledge.
Why the junk TARDIS in particular? Another abandoned TARDIS or a newly-built but equally rickety one would probably be easier to explain. The junk TARDIS has the advantage of a known visual, of course.

Thanks for the Jenny character sheet I’ve been tearing my hair out trying to balance her out. The reason I choose the Junk TARDIS was because it gives me interesting plot points e.g being made by THE TARDIS and the Doctor.... Also my players are much more used to Doctor Who than playing an RPG and so I thought it might be nice to ease them into something they know Neokexx

I think that it is very interesting my whole thing is about role-playing games is go beyond the setting experiment with it make it your own. Jenny is like the eighth Doctor she has potential and therefore in my opinion is a good choice for the Time Lord character.
