As there has been a request for a Doctor Who campaign at GUGS, and since I'm feeling inspired after the Christmas special and the upcoming anniversary, I've decided to start planning a campaign to run next year. Probably won't run until summer or autumn, as I need to finish the campaign I'm playing in first. And I haven't decided yet whether it's going to be a TARDIS-based campaign or a UNIT campaign. But in order to start preparing ideas for it, I thought I'd do a 36 Episodes from Song Titles list, much like Craig Oxbrow and Kammerice. The only thing I need is to decide on an artist and which 36 songs to use. Any suggestions, please?

I suggested Radiohead previously, as well as Muse - and non-song ideas like M.R. James short story titles. I suppose I should let someone else have a go...

Shriekback! Definitely Shriekback! Some of the song titles just scream out to be made into episodes:
A Kind of Fascination Accretions Moth Loop Clear Trails Lined Up Lines from the Library Brink of Collapse Putting on the Pressure Midnight Maps Under the lights Everything that Rises Must Converge Malaria This Big Hush Health and knowledge and Wealth and Power Hammerheads Black Light Trap Nemesis The Reptiles and I Underwaterboys Gunning for the Buddha Intoxication Dust and a Shadow Go Bang! Nighttown The Shining Path The Bastard Sons of Enoch Exquisite Corpse Below Psycho Drift Hymn to the Local Gods Pond Life Invisible Rays Everything's on Fire The Strongest Wind that Blows Reason with the Beast Il Mysteria del Tempo Every Force Evolves a Form

Or... you can never go wrong with the Beatles. ... especially during their psychedelic period... but even before 1966, there are quite a few song titles dealing with time. Roll Over Beethoven (OK, it's a Chuck Berry cover) Any Time at all Eight Days a Week I've Just Seen a Face The Night Before Yesterday Nowhere Man Rain Run for Your Life Eleanor Rigby Yellow Submarine Tomorrow Never Knows Being for the Benefit of Mr Kite Penny Lane Strawberry Fields Forever Magical Mystery Tour The Fool on the Hill Blue Jay Way A Day in the Life Martha my Dear Birthday Helter Skelter Revolution 9 Something Maxwell's Silver Hammer Here Comes the Sun Sun King Mean Mr Mustard Golden Slumbers The End Her Majesty Across the Universe I Me Mine Let It Be The Long and Winding Road Get Back

I've just noticed that David Bowie's songs as episode titles had already been covered in another, separate thread: dwaitas.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=seeds&action=display&thread=1889Can I get away with the "great minds think alike" card ? No ? ;D

Gary Numan. If you can't come up with some dandy sci-fi ideas based on his song titles, you're not trying.
