Has anyone considered the rules for creating groups and bases in PRIMEVAL? I quite like them and have been fond of them since the playtest.
Anyone tried to use them for canon Doctor Who groups like UNIT or Torchwood?

Anyone tried to use them for canon Doctor Who groups like UNIT or Torchwood? Yes and yes. Only for GM groups at the moment but personally, I find Primeval indispensable for DWAITAS. I highly recommend that any DWAITAS GM go and buy this right now because it’s a box of harvestable resources for the game.

Mind giving examples of groups you have made for DW:AITAS using the PRIMEVAL rules? Or would they be SPOILERS?

I'm running a new campaign using the X Doctor (an unspecified future incarnation) and there is a small UNIT section present with some regularity. so: UNIT SECTION HQTraits:Armoury, Code (Military Chain of Command), Medic, Minions (x5)*, Official Sanction (The UN), Secure Base, Vehicle Pool, Wealthy. *Minions: 3x Squads of Soldiers, 1x Technicians, 1x Support Staff (Admin, catering etc.)

Cool I'm assuming you didnt worry about point cost? When considering UNIT, I was coming up with way too many Good traits and not enough Bad for it to balance out.

Cool I'm assuming you didnt worry about point cost? Nope. I didn't really need to stat UNIT at all but I like using GM tools as much as I can as it's very much part of the fun I get from playing.

The UNIT book comes with a section on designing bases.

The UNIT book comes with a section on designing bases. NICE! Since its off to printers, can we talk Dom into putting out the PDFs soon?

Personally, I really like using the Threat rules from Primeval for non sentient creatures in DWAiTS.
