Has anyone run one with DW:AiTaS?
I suppose CIA/Celestis agents would be a possibility. It seems a bit mission-based and not quite the flavor I'm looking for. Specifically, if I were running a mission-based game, I'd run an all Time Agent game. I'd be interested in learning other people's experiences with CIA/Celestis games.
I think it may have been Craig who had a neat idea for an all time lord game with a twist. Craig, was "The Sword of Rassilon" yours? If I could figure out how to make that work, I'd steal it in a blink. Though it seems like a miniseries idea at most as the cool conceit seems to prevent it from being sustainable.
One idea I've toyed with is one I called The Citadel
The player characters are all "young" Time Lords in the Academy. They may belong to different Chapter Houses such as Arcallia, Patrex, and Prydon. The characters will encounter mysteries and intrigues and deadly threats both within the Citadel of the Time Lords and in time and space. This would allow Gallifreyan politics and conspiracy plots. It allows time and space travel when students are either taken to places like the Medusa Cascade or to temporal nexus points or when they hijack a TARDIS for reasons only player characters can understand. I suppose one could put a spin on it akin to the darker Harry Potter books/films with "young" Time Lords being the ones to uncover a great threat and being the only ones willing to stop it. The hard part is pitching "young" Time Lords to players.
Any other all Time lord ideas out there?
