This is more of a comic relief to the game.
Accident Prone (major Flaw)
Basically when the pc/npc rolls a 1 on any of the dice, something story related goes against the character. An example is flying a ship through soime tunnels in a huge station and rolling a skill check, he gets a 1 on one of the dice, he slams the top of the ship against the tunel walls taking out the shield deflector dish causing a penalty later when a shield roll is needed.
If however both dice roll 1's, the character also gets injured in the process taking a random wound point on his attributes (like using the optional hit chart on pg 45 Gamemasters Guide). Example the character is trying to reconnect several polarity cables and rolls a 1 on both dice. the Feedback rips through him like a surge of power causing his hair to smoke (1 pt damage on his intellect) and a dizzy, i'm-out-of-it feel for a second or two.
Not sure if this would constitute a Major or minor flaw due to the frequency of 1's being rolled up on 2D6. I have played games where it has happened a lot and some games where doubel 1's have never occured in an entire 4 hour game session.

Yeah, one in six will happen a whole lot.
This is like the Minor level of the "dramatic turn of events" table, except you don't get three or four Story Points out of it. I doubt it would be worth one or even two character points for this Bad Trait; I'd rather be in control of such bad luck and get the Story Points for it. It's certainly much worse than the Bad Luck Minor Bad Trait, which happens much less frequently and is probably going to reduce your Result no more than one level or so.

Hullo, Mark, This is more of a comic relief to the game. Accident Prone (major Flaw) Basically when the pc/npc rolls a 1 on any of the dice, something story related goes against the character. Mark Not a bad job on setting up the Accident Prone trait, but the main problem I see with this is the roll of "1" on a die resulting in the Trait's happening at a given moment. Given the odds of rolling "1" on a six-sided dice are about 16%, this is going to happen more often than one might like, and when one throws a second or third (due to Story Points), what then? The real difficulty I have with the Trait is that one is better off taking the Clumsy Trait, and just reward the player with a Story Point or two for making the accident proneness part of the Trait. No dice roll requirement. So not to my taste, I'm afraid, but I can see some folks using this.

I'm wondering about card use instead. Say give each player a "Super trope" card - the decription of - one of your flaws behaves in a more powerful and stereotypical way. Earn twice as many storypoints.
Give 1 to each player. You could give them one each session, or however often you want this kind of occurance happening in your campaign.
