Sorry folks, I don't have one on offer (yet). However, I was hoping that someone has already done the hard yards and put together a collection of the charts and tables from the GM's guide?

I've been using the Gamemaster's Screen for this.

Hullo, hogscape, Sorry folks, I don't have one on offer (yet). However, I was hoping that someone has already done the hard yards and put together a collection of the charts and tables from the GM's guide? You might want to consider picking up the DW: AiTaS GM Screen. It's got all the charts you could possibly want, as well as a really solid cardboard structure to the Screen itself.

I should finish my brief attempts at this really. They are much for the benefit of players than GMs, though, because of the excellent screen.

Possibly as some kind of extension to the character sheet?

Yes, I think there's penty of room on the character sheet - I don't have the screen yet, it hasn't made its way to Darkest Western Australia... ;D

They weren't long in delivering it to Darkest Eastern Australia

Okay, I have now acquired the GM screen. It is big and pretty and sturdy enough to stop a bullet. The images on the player's side are very nice indeed.
On the GM's the tables are not so special. Not the content, the printing. Dark blue background with thin spidery light-blue text that kind of 'bleeds' into the background. I think if you're going to print on this quite porous paper - quite different to the strong paper used for the rule books, you need to go black text on a white background.
I'll still have to put together a cheat-sheet of my own, the very nature of a GM's shield means that the important charts and tables are in shadow for much of the time - this is not very easy to read.
Next up, I went to store my new shield in the game box. Oops... That's just not going to fit is it? I have always been in favour of boxed games but having a box that is only as thick as the two books inside is like not really having a box... Bit of an 'own goal' buy the publisher there. I knew the shield wouldn't fit of course because I'd previously bagged the story point tokens and they produce a huge bulge in the top of the box...

Now that I've finally got back to finishing these, here are my player 'cheat sheets'... Rules SummarySuccess And Failure TableThey are intended as quick player references on the most important rules. They don't cover everything but they cover most of the bases, like how to spend Story Points. In the games I've played in/GM'd, these simple rules would have been a great help.

Nice! Have some karma. Also a good summary of the system to explain to veteran roleplayers of its core elements.

Very VERY nice cheat sheets.
I would buy the shield but twice I have ordered from vendors through Amazon, where they said they have it, only to have the order cancelled by them because they in fact didn't. So as one could imagine, I am not a happy camper.

I don't know why anyone orders RPG books from any of the Amazons. The release dates are always wrong and they always arrive long after they are actually released. Totally unreliable.

Personally I have never had much of a problem with Amazon. Every order I have made was sent and recieved well ahead of what they said it would be. For me anyways.

Slight discount on the products, reasonable shipping, fast delivery, and excellent service. Check out their website.

I will definately have to look into that. Timelord knows I am tired with getting cancelled orders.
On a seperate note, while I am here, is there a way to follow specific threads beyond bookmarking them. I see no rss feed and there doesn't seem to be a follow button which many boards seem to have that would email me whenever there is something posted to a thread I am in/watching.

Never had any problems myself with Noble Knight orders, but for me the only real issue with stuff shipping from the U.S. at times is the costs of shipping and the stupdity of Canada Customs. I see no rss feed and there doesn't seem to be a follow button which many boards seem to have that would email me whenever there is something posted to a thread I am in/watching. I tend to use the Search function, and read all the posts from the period that I last checked on that way. If others have any ideas, I'm all eyes.

Okay, Rel Fexive Cheat Sheet has been a big git with my group. I have run 3 "episodes" (I love using Television vernacular) in the past week and my group has been VERY appreciative of them. My GM Shield is on the way (YAY, Finally). But the Cheat Sheet gave me an idea. I loved how the game books have the table of contents on the back. And I (and many other GM's) are in love with Binders. Since I always get the Binders with clear inserts so I can add my own covers I though why not put the cheat sheet in it. It was great. But I wanted a LITTLE more information. So I tweaked the Cheet Sheet and added some more stuff. Here it is. I will probably be adding it to the back of my custom character sheets (coming soon) as well. Attachments:

I looked at this and decided the difficulty chart didn't work (even though I know it's based on the DWAiTaS book). For example, if the difficulty of driving in traffic were really 12, with an average human NPC coordination of 2-3, transport 1-2, and die roll of 7, we'd see a lot more traffic accidents--half of all drivers would fail this task every trip! So I changed a lot of the examples from 9-24 (I left the top and the bottom alone). Here's what I came up with:
Easy/9--Setting the video timer, driving a car in traffic on a rainy day, operating an MP3 player, jumping a low fence.
Normal/12--Driving a car in one inch of snow, shooting at someone, swimming in the sea, uncovering a useful but not secret fact.
Tricky/15--Driving at speed in snow, shooting a moving target, climbing a building.
Hard/18--Picking a lock, conversing meaningfully in a long-unused foreign language, treating a gunshot wound.
Difficult/21--Climbing a sheer cliff without ropes, charming your way into a government facility, escaping from rope bonds.
Very difficult/24--Getting a fused computer to work again, wrestling a bear, flying a plane in turbulence.
I also changed the heat/cold damage a little bit.

Not so. In a 'normal' everyday situation, you don't need to roll, ever. The GM will say 'you drive there' and that's it. However, it gets interesting and rolly when there's something extraordinary, critical or dangerous going on while you are driving. You only need to roll in a critical situation, like trying to drive in normal traffic without a mishap when speeding to a location or with a Dalek Mutant trying to strangle a passenger and you have to keep control of the vehicle. The difficulties chart you refer to appears to be based on the original 10th Doctor book version of the difficulty chart. Since then it's been updated and I'd strongly suggest you use a more recent version of the vortex rules. Compare and contrast with the 11th Doctor, Primeval and Rocket Age versions:

Since I didn't have time to wait for Cubical 7 to fix the silly [and unhelpful] First edition difficulty chart I made up my own [loosely influenced by some of the stuff from the FASA RPG]. I like it enough that I've been using it ever since.
DIFFICULTY CHART Simple 5 Routine 9 Average Diff 12 Professional Diff 15 Hard 21 Nearly Impossible 28 Impossible 36
Yes, several of these are completely out or reach, but with Story Points and +2 per qualified helper, and +2 for every doubling of time taken they are attainable.
