Does anyone have a 1st Edition writeup of the 13th Doctor? Thank you.

Thanks guys !
Unrelated: I was watching The Web of Fear. In episode 4 or 5, after The Doctor altered the control sphere, it doesn't work at first until he bashes the bench to get it working. Therefore, he should have the Percussive Maintenance Trait.

Therefore, he should have the Percussive Maintenance Trait. As it happens, I'm in the middle of watching The Web of Fear too - part 4 was last night. Great story, it's just a shame about the missing episode 3 (and the distractingly bizarre animation style used to replace it). Anyway, Percussive Maintenance - if it's just a one-off occurrence I'd say not, but if it's repeated behaviour then yes. I haven't noticed it so far in the Second Doctor stories, but then I've not really been looking out for it - will do so from now on.

Yeah, if it was a one off I'd say no trait, although I suspect the 2nd Doctor did this on more than one occasion - he was the originator of a lot of the Doctor's more erratic behavior. So maybe he has the trait. BTW, wasn't there a rule that said you could spend a Story Point to buy a trait for a short term?

It would be interesting to view entire runs and take notes.
Ian Marsh and Peter Darvill-Evans who wrote the Time Lord role-playing game did just that. The guys sat through days of video tapes to get the stats just right. If I recall, the Second Doctor has a skill called Bench-thumping, which is basically the same as Percussive Maintenance. Actually, even if you don't play it, Time Lord is a great sourcebook for the classic series. I think it has some of the best write-ups and descriptions of any RPG.
Quote from the book:
Time Lord was originally released in book format, but is now free and was released online in the late 90's with the author's permission. It's a wonderfully well-researched very clever rules-light RPG, with a nifty 2D6 game mechanic. It covers the entire classic series period of the first seven Doctors. What's more, the game system can be used for any TV-style sci-fi /action roleplaying.

While We all appreciate the link there is another section of the forum that covers Time Lord. Probably best to keep things tidy. BTW, one of the interesting thing about all the official Doctor Who RPGs is that they all use a 1-6 (ish) scale for character stats, some form form of 2d6 to resolve actions, and that the writeup of characters between games is fairly consistent. You could almost run a character in DW:AITAS using a writeup from FASA or Time Lord. Yet each game is distinct. That's rather remarkable.
