Jodie Whittaker is being joined by Bradley Walsh (as Graham), Tosin Cole (as Ryan) and Mandip Gill (as Yasmin). Sharon D. Clarke is also joining the cast in a recurring role. No further info about the characters has been revealed yet - unless anyone else has heard anything more...?
It's also confirmed that Chris Chibnall's first series will be ten 50-minute episodes (with the first episode being an hour special) and will broadcast in Autumn 2018.

I'm quite excited about all of this personally. I know people will crap all over this and say the show's ruined but even the people who say they'll leave will hate watch it anyway. As for the story itself I'm kinda hoping for a Miss Firzzle/Magic Schoolbus style shenanigans but with more death.

I'll wait and see what they are about. I'm reminded that they touted Danny Pink as a 'new companion', so it is possible none of them are actually going to travel with the Doctor. My guess would be the two younger actors join the Doctor but often visit Walsh as the 'wise professor' or something.
Heck, maybe they are all playing the same companion, a new timelord due to regenerate twice before the end of the first season! (OMG, maybe Bradley is Romana #4!
Logic, my dear Zoe, simply allows one to be wrong with authority.
