I believe they were referring to the "Night of the Doctor" mini episode where he regenerated into the War Doctor as his second episode. Okay. while BBC America carries "Doctor Who" it doesn't, as far as I know, carry any of the spin-off series. So, I miss out on all the stuff that's available to my fellow "Doctor Who" fans in Europe. It wasn't a spin off series, per say. It was a 7 minute short episode set right before the 50th anniversary episode ( The Day of the Doctor) that brought back Paul McGann. As the episode dealt with stuff and characters that lead into the 50th anniversary episode (*SPOLIERS*) and made by the same people it's really part of Doctor Who. Oh and the BBC has it up on youtube so you can watch it: linkAnother neat bit about it was that McGann was able to name-drop all of his companions from his Big Finish audio adventures thereby adding more legitimacy to his tern as the 8th Doctor. P>S>: There were several shorts and "tardisodes" made during the Davies and Moffat eras. They all fit in between episodes, and then to very entertaining. I found the one where Rose get's "wierded out" by the 9th Doctor's regeneration into the 10th, and the one where Amy Pond asks about the Doctor's previous companions very entertaining.

But perhaps a little conversion manual for items and such if/when they release their official book? BTW, do we even know if they WILL release an official 13th Doctor Sourcebook? Friendly greetings, Horus Lupercal. I've been thinking about this since my earlier replies. As our usual Omitted But Not Forgotten section won't be appropriate where 2e sourcebooks have been published by Cubicle 7, I'm now wondering whether we should instead have a 2e-to-1e Conversions section. Just for a selection of key characters and monsters maybe.

That sounds like a splendid idea. All things that appeared during the 13th doctor's era can then be put into there.
Friendly greetings, Horus Lupercal.

Oh, I imagine that once we've published sourcebooks for all the Doctors, we'll move onto Torchwood, The Sarah Jane Adventures and possibly even a thin booklet for ClassI'm actually hoping that Cubicle 7 produces some official books for these spin-offs.

Unfortunately, it seems that the license Cubicle 7 has ONLY covers the Doctor Who TV-Series. NOT any spin-offs. I wondered about that myself & was told what I now tell you. It sucks, I know. Friendly greetings, Horus Lupercal.

Pretty please? Friendly greetings, Horus Lupercal.

At this stage, I think that's unlikely. But if they do, then great!

Maybe even the Australian K9 series, even if just in the Off-Off Canon section.

I've merged the Barbara Benedetti thread into the existing spin-offs thread to keep the discussion together.

I think it would be fun to explore these characters and stories more in-depth. SJA definitely has a few of my favorite stories and characters that would be fun to include alongside the main game.

I was thinking the same thing, though I might have split it differently, so that "popular" material is featured in each. Like one focused on teams, with Torchwood as the main feature (with Faction Paradox, UNIT, PROBE...), one on former TV companions//allies, headlined by Sarah Jane Adventures and K9 (with Jago & Litefoot, Gallifrey, etc.), and one that's more extracanonical, headed by Bernice Summertime (with Iris, Charlie, Graceless, Abslom Daak and so on). I'd suggest doing up each topic as it's own chapter or group of chapters, and then seeing what fits together, and what doesn't. After all, there is really no reason why this couldn't be done as a bunch of smaller, separate supplements. In fact, it might be more popular/successful that way, as people will be able to more easily access the non-canon stuff they want, and ignore the non-cannon stuff they don't. Plus not all the spin-off really mix well with each other.I think everybody has some non-cannon thing that they would like to forget ever existed, too. Most of us wouldn't rate Downtown and Abducted by Daleks equally.or want them both covered in the same supplement

Sorry if this derails the conversation, but will there be any more addendum books as well?
Friendly greetings, Horus Lupercal.
