That was a tiny bit magnificent, wasn't it?

I saw it at the local cinema in 3d and thought is was brilliant! There was the odd plot hole but nothing to spoil a great story, and some impressive effects as well. Looking forward to seeing it again as soon as I can DW

I saw it at the cinema too and just caught myself thinking of it like a film that I'd have to go back there to watch again or wait for the DVD. Then I remembered I'd recorded it too!

Watching it again tonight. And any other repeats I can find. And on DVD as soon as I can get a copy.

Excellent episode! The only thing close to a complaint I have is they didn't explain The Nightmare Child, The Skaro Degradations, Army of Meanwhiles and Neverweres, The Could've Been King, and the Horde of Travesties. Were these the other Forbidden Weapons from the Omega Arsenal?

Second viewing. Superlative.
One of the best parts for me was the fact that we saw a far future version of the Doctor with the Fourth Doctor's face. There is a bit of conjecture on this elsewhere but if you scrutinise the script it's more than just implied:
11: I could be a curator. I’d be great at curating, I’d be ‘The Great Curator’. I could retire and do that. I could retire and be the curator of this place.
Curator: You know I really think you might.
11: I never forget a face.
Curator: I know you don’t; and in years to come you might find yourself revisiting a few, but just…the old favourites eh?
11 winks at him.
Curator: You were curious about this painting I think. I acquired it in remarkable circumstances. What do you make of the title?
11: Which title, there’s two. ‘No More’…or ‘Gallifrey Falls’.
Curator: Oh you see, that’s where everybody’s wrong. It’s all one title: ‘Gallifrey Falls No More’. Now…what would you think that means, eh?
11: That Gallifrey didn’t fall ! It worked ! It’s still out there !
Curator: I’m only a humble curator, I’m sure I wouldn’t know.
11: Then where is it?
Curator: Where is it indeed.
11: Yes
Curator: Lost! Shh! Perhaps…things do get lost you know; and now you must excuse me. Ohh…you have a lot to do…
11: Do I !
Curator: Mmm.
11: Is that what I’m supposed to do now? Go looking for Gallifrey?
Curator: Well it’s entirely up to you. Your choice eh? I could only tell you what I would do…if I were you…oh…if were you…oh…perhaps I was you of course…or perhaps you are me.
They laugh
11: Yeah.
Curator: Congratulations.
11: Thank you very much.
Curator: Or perhaps it doesn’t matter either way. Who knows. Who Knows.

Watched it in the local cinema. Very nice show. Brilliant acting. Effects were nice. My favorite line:
11th: Geronimo! 10th: Alons-y! War-Doctor: Oh, for God's sake! (pushes Tardis lever)

I thought it was fantastic! An anniversary episode with multiple doctors is a hard thing to do but Moffat pulled it off well.

In my opinion this was the best anniversary episode to date. Seeing it at the local theater with my family truly made it a memorable event.

I haven't really enjoyed the specials that much. The Christmas ones haven't been all that good, not compared to the 2-parters we've had in the series. This one, though... *This* one... Wow.
Watched in twice back-to-back, watched it in bits and pieces since when the kids have put it on. Moffat has out-done himself this time. There were a few things I wanted to see but didn't - the end of John Hurt's regeneration, the aforementioned weapons from the Omega Arsenal, more of the older Doctors (especially since they've had stand-ins for Hartnell and Troughton for the documentary, I really did hope they were filming some of the older stories at the same time).
And a cracking script.
"What are you going to do, assemble a cabinet at them?" "You're basically just a rabbit, aren't you."
And yes, "Oh, for God's sake. Gallifrey stands!"
At the end of the show, my kids asked if my favourite Doctor had been in there. They're fans of the new Doctors, Tennant and Smith especially. My reply: "Yep. All 13 of them."
Now... What I would love to happen is Big Finish pick up John Hurt's Doctor and let him run for a few audio adventures!

With the Night of the Doctor putting the Eighth Doctor's Big Finish run into "canon" there may be grounds for Big Finish to negotiate a deal for the 8.5 Doctor. That being said - they'd also have to somehow find some time when John isn't busy to record the audios

They'd have to be war stories. At best, I can imagine a miniseries of, say, three stories.

I Loved Day of the Doctor a whole lot. Multi-Doctor stories are very hard to do right, and this was very good. Smith and Tennant play off each other hilariously. Clever resolution and feel-good ending. It was also very interesting to see an actor of John Hurt's calibur playing the War Doctor.

It was nice to see Derek Jacobi as the Master briefly too... We need more theatre actors in the show, there aren't as many since the classic series.
