Has anyone else noticed the similarities in the Moffat era Doctor Who to his comedy special Curse of the Fatal Death? Not only has the Doctor "got married" but also the line is used "Maybe even the Universe can't bear to be without the Doctor" also hinting at a sentient Universe. I've also noticed a trend in these past 3 seasons of things needing to be "explained later..."

Agree on all counts - it's hilarious. I was watching this again yesterday (hence my new under-avatar blurb).
An extra bit of Moffat trivia is that it was produced by his wife, Sue Vertue.

That's the same as Coupling though. Did they meet in Press Gang or was it after that?

Coincidentally, on imdb, they list Julia Sawalha as playing Emma but it's actually Gabrielle Glaister playing the role (Bob from Balckadder). In The Curse of Fatal Death? It was Julia Sawalha who played Emma.
