Had an idea for a cool prop for games, however, it would take someone more knowledgeable than myself to put it into practice, so passing it along here.
The idea is for a screenshot of an AMNN newsreader that GMs can insert their own pictures and text for news stories relevant to their adventure.
Wouldn't even know how to go about creating an image that other images and text can be inserted into, thus proposing it here.

I can probably write you a PHP script and host it on my website if you like. Or there's the slightly clumsier method of using tables in HTML and having the background of a cell be the image. You can do layers fairly easily - especially if you use translucent images like PNG or images with transparent areas like GIFs.
On that note - I can't offhand remember episodes that feature good images of the newsreader. Let me know of one you like, and I'll capture that off my DVDs for this tool.

There are a couple good full-screen images of the newsreader on The Sarah Jane Adventures. Part 2 of "Secrets of the Stars" has some.

Hmm - harder to get as I don't have any DVDs of that series - I'll see if I can find something on Doctor Who. Possibly in the World War Three episode...
