Here's a crib-sheet I've been using for ease of reference when creating characters, primarily summarising all the Trait costs, but also listing Attributes and Skills. I thought others might find it useful. Please let me know if you spot any errors or omissions! EDITED TO ADD: See most recent post for a link for the up-to-date download.

Now updated with the new Traits from Aliens and Creatures. As before, if you notice any errors or omissions, please let me know. Also, I've not been able to find the cost of the Special version of the Alien Organs trait in A&C - if anybody else has found it, please shout.

Attached version of the summary sheet has been corrected - previous versions had Boffin as a Minor trait.

This is fabulous !! If I knew how to bestow Karma upon you, I'd give you all I had to give, as this sheet saves, or will save, a lot of ware and tare on my books. The perfect hand-out too, for players. So, they can run through the process of choosing Traits without us having to pass the books around. Thank you, so much !!

Thanks! It's certainly saved me a lot of time with designing characters.
Actually, here's a version without the spurious Animal Handling skill listed (it's a homebrew skill we use for horse riding, dog handling, falconry, etc).

Actually, as a GURPS player I'm familiar with the Animal Handling skill. And it works well for one of our characters. A woman named Emma Soames who has a way with Animals, especially small ones. And is an excellent rider.

I've now added Tech Levels to the summary sheet, available to download here:
FILE REMOVED: See most recent post for a link to the up-to-date version of the file.
There's also a new version of the Doctor's Age chronology available to download, with a very minor correction.

I really like the comprehensive reference material on the Doctor's age. It needs a minimum and a maximum total though, I'm thinking. Also the fact that the Eigth was so little-developed not only meant free reign by the writers of the novels, they could give him the longest life of them all

An updated version of the crib-sheet is now available - only minor amendments again this time, but includes a new trait from the 11th Doctor Edition:

You missed one from the new core set, Harry. Look on pg.79 of the GG, right under the picture of the Alien Tech scanner and you'll find a neat little addition available in the new box.

Yep. As I was revising the Gadget section, I was thinking on how best to represent River Song's little blue Diary as a 'gadget' and how to make the Electronic Lockpick from the first set worth its Story Point Value, and this Gadget Trait came to mind.

I don't have the 11th Doctor edtion in pdf form nor i'm going to purchase the pdf or box set in the future (money is way too tight) But I have the 11th doctor enhancement. Looking at the electronic lock-pick gadget card in the free update it says: Skill: subterfuge 3. I think it means you add 3 to your subterfuge skill, so Skill: "something" # adds # to your "something" skill.

You got it. It allows a Gadget to contain a Skill, so the user can use the Gadget's skill level if their own score in that skill is lower. And for characters without any points in that skill, the Gadget allows them to avoid the usual -4 penalty when using the Gadget.
Buying 1 level of Skill gives you 2 points in that skill, and you can add additional points at a cost of 1 level per point up to a max of Skill 5. In the case of the electronic lock-pick, Skill: Subterfuge 3 would have costed 2 points.

Harry has it right. It is used in place of your skill, not in addition to it. If your skill is equal to or better than that listed, then you won't get a lot of use out of that particular gadget trait, but it will still be useful as a tool (even if you're a master cat-burglar, you still need an electronic tool to take full benefit of that skill against electronic locks, barring the use of Story Points) and could be extra handy when you lend it to others.

Arghh! Game Front have changed their rules on what file types can be hosted by them - and it no longer covers pdfs!
I've attached the new Traits summary to this post. But I'll need to sort out a new website to host the other DWAITAS files - anybody got any recommendations?

OK, I've opened a MediaFire account. Two versions of the Traits and Skills summary sheet are available : one including the new Traits from the Primeval RPG and one with just the Traits actually from DWAiTS:

I've added the new traits from Defending the Earth:
FILE REMOVED: See most recent post for a link to the up-to-date version of the file.
I've also incorporated the additional traits from the Primeval RPG which haven't yet appeared in DWAITS into the one document. They're all clearly marked, so if you don't have Primeval you can easily ignore them.
If anyone spots any errors or omissions, please let me know.

Now updated with the new traits from The Time Traveller's Companion, including Time Lord, TARDIS and Apocalyptic Traits plus the Chapter and TARDIS acquisition costs from the Advanced Time Lord Creation rules:
FILE REMOVED: See most recent post for a link to the up-to-date version of the file.
The traits from the Primeval RPG are still included but in grey text so they're more easily identifiable for those who don't have that game or don't want to include the traits in DWAITAS.
