After almost a year of uncertainty, an official announcement has finally been made about "Torchwood". A new ten episode series will air on the U. S. channel Starz as well as BBC 1. Since Starz also airs the highly racy "Spartacus" television show, we can expect the adult themed nature of the series to survive intact or even *ahem* be expanded a bit. ("Ladies, your ratings just went up!"). John Barrowman and Eve Myles are confirmed as returning. Any news on a possible new series? Capt. Jack's just gotta return. Sort of, but not recent. The latest news I can find is from 2011 early 2012. Starz (the American network) and the stars(at least John Barrowman and Eve Myles) are willing to make another series. The wait is for Russel T Davies, I believe he had some personal problems and is currently working on other projects(Wizards vs Aliens). However, we should not despair; after all, there was a two year delay between series 2 and 3. Well at least there is still hope. Just waiting on Russell then. Hopefully we'll get a nice bit with Capt. Jack for the Doctor Who 50th. ::fingers crossed::
