Hullo, Kaemaril, I have to say that I was pleased to hear this news, as I think Gaiman will do a fabulous job writing the episode for Doctor Who. He wrote a very good episode of Babylon 5, "Day of the Dead", for the fifth and final season, and it was very enjoyable and had a rather neatly intriguing plot. So I look forward to seeing the Gaiman episode of DW whenever it airs.

Neil always writes in the Urban Fantasy genre (even in science fiction settings) - so I expect something similar to the Torchwood episode by Peter J. Hammond. Something with a bit of faerie.

That's the most exciting news I've heard about the series since Stephen Moffat was announced as RTD's replacement.

Only slightly disappointed that I have to wait so long to see it.
