I think I understand Gagets to a degree but I just want to clarify things.
What is the cost of the offsetting "Bad Trait"? - I think that one minor bad trait offsets one minor good trait but do 2 minor bad traits offset one good trait?
As with Gadget traits are you limited to just choosing the traits found in the GM book Chapter 3 THe Long game (pages 69-71) or can you use any trait found in the game?
Finally - It may be there but I don't seem to be able to find it - what is the TARDIS as a Gadget? Has it been written up?
Thanks Todd

Minor traits are 1 point if good and -1 if bad. Major traits are 2 if good, -2 if bad, and the points ARE cumulative, so that a gadget with a Major good Trait and 2 minor bad traits would even out. Gadgets can use ANY trait, if the Engineer's Mate is anything to judge by. It lists 'Technically Adept' as one of its Good Traits, and this is normally found in the character traits section. I think a gadget can have any trait, but 'Gadget Traits' are specifically designed FOR gadgets (or robot/cyborg characters) As for the TARDIS, the TARDIS is a bit more than a Gadget. Its almost a character in its own right. Its full stats are on page 92 of the Gamemaster's Guide. Also in the characters thread on this board I have put up stats for the TARDIS thats going to be in my game.
