Meh, I like my systems to fit the genre they mean to simulate. Doctor Who and "tactical combat" are mutually exclusive IMO. I'll be sticking with DWAITAS.

Wow. I'd never go from DW:AiTaS to the old FASA game. Wow.

I think there are Who fans squarely on the other side of the Old School/New School divide who are having trouble with DWAITAS' New School leanings. What... no love for Timelord?!

Timelord was alright, more my thing than the FASA system and I say that as someone who ran the FASA game... for three weeks in the late 80s.

I think I'd more likely try In Spaaaace or Prime Time Adventures than any other system for Who (other than DWAITAS that is).

Some interesting stuff there. I'll need to think on this.

You've used the wrong link (and description) for The Medium Bads - its the same as the "New Series a bottle universe?" from your last post.

Thanks for spotting it. An undo too many when doing the list. All better now.

I'd jump on the chance if I wasn't so elsewhere!

See also Monsters Of The Week - TIME LORD Edition for some less familiar Who monsters as covered in the last Who RPG. I'll update properly some time when I'm not in a web cafe on the other side of the planet.

I'm posting regularly to my blog on my DWAITAS campaign - sadly I've friends locked it because it gives away far too many secrets about what's going on. I'm planning on making them public when they're "safe". Maybe when we get to Chapter 3 of Paradox Diaspora. Although anyone interested in my ramblings (and isn't a player in my game!), feel free to friend me on LiveJournal

I'd like to see this kind of treatment to the old series too.

I like the "Why stop with the Anti-Paladin" except Frankenstein was a Doctor, not a Professor - he didn't teach at a university
