Sourcebooks for "UFO", "Space: 1999", and "The Time Tunnel" would be cool.

Sourcebooks for "UFO", "Space: 1999", and "The Time Tunnel" would be cool. I think all three could be possible and "work" with the Vortex system. II've got some game stats for UFO vehicles too. I think Time Tunnel would be the easiest of the three, as you wouldn't need to create much to do it. Just sat out the reoccurring characters and send PCs through time. But if we are dipping into Irwin Allen then Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea would be a nice addition, as would practically any of Allen's shows. Most 60s-70s Sci-Fi shows are fairly compatible. Hmm, come to think of it I've got Seaview and Flying Sub game stats somewhere.

An Irwin Allen sourcebook covering several of his series would be a great idea, with separate sections on Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, Lost in Space, The Time Tunnel and Land of the Giants.

An Irwin Allen sourcebook covering several of his series would be a great idea, with separate sections on Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, Lost in Space, The Time Tunnel and Land of the Giants. I think it might be better as several small books rather than one big book. For one thing I don't think all of his series are inter-compatible with each other. Plus separate books would make things easier for different people to work on their favorites. Since this is getting some interest, I'll post my Seaview stats later today. I'm always good for vehicle stats, and maybe that can get the ball rolling. Quite a bit needed for an Irwin Allen series can be adapted from existing Doctor Who material. For instance, the Time Tunnel appear to be similar to Time Corridor technology and most of what we need for Land of the Giants can be taken from the section on Planet of the Giants from the First Doctor Sourcebook. Storywise there is a lot of similarities in tone, style and morality between late 60s SciFi series. The hard bits, IMO, are that Irwin Allen series tend to be rather inconsistent with details (The Seaview shrinks and looses a level, which the Jupiter 2 picks up), changes things for stroy purposes, and tend to start with great concepts and somehow devolve into silly stories defending against rubber monsters, especially this one monster that bears a remarkable resemblance to an Axon.

I think the show Murdoch Mysteries might be good for a sourcebook.

I think the show Murdoch Mysteries might be good for a sourcebook. Oh Yes! That show is great. I can see how it fits into the same world as Paternoster Investigations. Great idea! Friendly greetings, Horus Lupercal.

I think another series that could blend or overlap with Doctor Who pretty easily would be the Chronos & Kairos series by Madeleine L'Engle. The books that started with A Wrinkle in Time.

Has anyone asked about an Avengers sourcebook yet? Could even be broken down into smaller parts by releasing one based on each assistant IE aMrs peel volume. Failing that a condensed series maybe focusing on each series rather than each episode

Failing that a condensed series maybe focusing on each series rather than each episode I don't think so, but considering the time period, style, and writers, it wouldn't be a bad idea to do so. I think you'd mostly just need character write-ups for Steed and whoever his associate is at the time, some light overview of the organization they work for, and a section on the missions and opponents. The tricky bit would be to capture the style of the programme. It's rather unique.
