I love this one so much! I remember listening to someone read it and gave me the great smile reading an SCP for how awesome it is, It gives me some Lovecraft vibes as well though like stumbling upon something one should not and seeing the horrors forbade. And considering the location the prison is situated in, you could craft a whole adventure focusing on the political turmoil and negotiations between interested parties without the war criminals ever having to be revived!

875 reminds me a little of the house in Fallen Angel, used for a similar purpose.

SCP 747 strikes me as something that would probably be included within PROBE’s archives than say UNIT or Torchwood. Especially considering how PROBE tend to tackle threats that are often considered supernatural or preternatural in nature. (Speaking of, I should really start writing up material for a modern day PROBE group one of these days...) Although maybe one of the Misfit Mob have heard talk of the children in the odd rumour or ghost story here and there.
Personally, I’m quite curious about SCP 930. What could possibly be on that island?

I like the idea of a modern-day PROBE, let me know if I can help.
Also I really like 247, the camouflaged Bengal tiger.

Sure! When you get the chance, shoot me a message and we can throw some ideas back and forth. 247 is great. Such a simple idea but one executed well. As I suggested, it could just be the work of some mad geneticist or perhaps an ordinary specimen swallowed a perception filter ala The Crocodile from Peter Pan.

I'll take a look at that one as well, thanks! There is a lot to SCP a well thought it might be easier to post the tag at least to narrow stuff down seems both extra terrestrial and temporal work best for doctor who

3150 interests me. It's a caravanserai what it's sole occupant describes as the "caravanserai at the end of the world") in the depths of the Turkmen desert, existing for perhaps thousands of years and allowing indivuduals from many eras, past and future (and perhaps variants of both) to meet and talk. Such places occur more in fantasy than science fiction, perhaps most notably Anderson's The Old Phoenix Inn but could work well in a 'soft' setting like Doctor Who, perhaps outside normal space-time but connected to it by various rifts. Who knows who could be found there, and who knows who runs the place...
The Old Phoenix has a more classically European fantasy decor, compared to the more Islamic/Arabic style of the caravanserai, featuring a floor and walls of oak, massive ceiling beams, the long central 'common table' with benches with several smaller tables and intricately carved, ivory-inlaid armchairs, the classic log fire burning in a stone fireplace, a mahogany bar with a brass foot rail but (unusually) crammed bookshelves and a desk with writing materials and two globes. The walls are decorated with various pictures including a photograph of Saturn and the windows are closed and well shuttered against the 'inter-cosmic void' Adjacent is a kitchen and upstairs are bedrooms.

An item that UNIT may have acquired, or might be in unofficial use, is 3539 a '60s vintage portable radio transceiver that can seemingly summon the shades of a crashed aircraft when someone uses the radio to call for an emergency evacuation. Most of the time a call is responded to by a crashed military helicopter from the more-or-less recent past, but sometimes it calls something from the future, potentially the very distant future.
If UNIT knows officially about this item it'll be in the Black Archive for emergencies. The potential for acquiring knowledge of the future makes it rather dangerous (the crew of the rescue aircraft will answer question) to use routinely. Then again, as in the original SCP write-up, it might be unofficially used, kept quietly for those missions when it's special abilities might save a team. And finally there's the possibility of encountering someone you know, who's destined to die in the future.
3553 on the other hand is just creepy. An aspect of the now defunct (and ineffective) Milk Carton Appeal that existed in the USA in the mid 1980s and early 1990s where the pictures of missing children were printed on milk cartons. Except in this case the cartons can appear a decade or more before the programme began, or decades after it ended, and carry the details of children before they disappear. A disappearance that seemingly can't be prevented.

I’d probably put in 3150 alongside the other nice little oddities such as your very own The Arbour. You could come up with an explanation for it but I think it would be more interesting not to. It’s one of those strange areas of space/time where the likes of the Time Agency or even the Time Lords could repair but it’s so stable and does so little harm that there’s almost no point in trying to fix it. In fact, it strikes me as the perfect place for various powerful beings such as the Guardians or even the Temporal Powers to meet to make negotiations and the like. Naturally, before Earth was sealed off from the rest of the universe during the Time War.

3539 strikes me as the sort of item that UNIT does know about. But only to the higher ups such as Kate Stewart, Director Bones and possibly Osgood. As you say, it’s only to be used for emergencies although exceptions could be made. In fact, maybe it was originally discovered and used by PROBE or Torchwood but came into UNIT’s possession when the former’s archive was seized (before it was reactivated come the modern day) or the latter when it was shut down. 3553 is legitimately terrifying. Reminds me rather of the Fairies’s’ modus operandi excerpt in their case it’s usually to propagate their species and the Children take come to no harm. Clearly in this case, something else is abducting the children for some nefarious purpose. For some reason, I imagine it’s to use their souls to power some great Engine. In any case, it would for a good motivation for a villain. A distraught mother/father/sibling who is desperate enough to recover them that they’re willing to tear apart the very foundations of reality itself.

Here are a few more SCP entries: * SCP 019 the-scp.foundation/object/scp-019 A pot believe to be of Grecian origin which periodically produces monsters. Unfortunately, it seems these creatures are becoming ever resistant to various means of dispatching them. * SCP 662 scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-662 A bell which summons a loyal butler who answers to the name “Mr Deeds” Probably the sort of item someone at PROBE bought off the trader in expensive alien goods known as The Auctioneers. Unable to figure out how it works, they just use Mr Deeds to help around the office. Beats paying another member of staff after all. * SCP 975 scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-975 A portal which spits out entities resembling Earth amphibians and who are apparently running from something... But what exactly? * SCP 1382 scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-1382 The abandoned and crash remains of a commercial air liner which is linked to a buoy which floats above it. And for whom, the skeleton remains tend to periodically animate and circle through various routines in a loop. * SCP 2805 scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-2805 The frozen severed head of Walt Disney which possesses strange properties created by a deal with the mysterious Oneiroi Collective. Be more of a fun Easter Egg if anything else and let’s face it, it’s probably held by the Disney Corporation than anyone such as UNIT. * SCP 2835 scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-2835 A VHS video cassette of a previously unreleased episode of the Adventures of Paddy the Pelican. The main character of said terrible cartoon is known to become animated (If you’ll excuse the pun...) and become extremely defensive over the quality of its work. Probably one of those items which is merely another example of weirdness and doesn’t warrant an explanation. * SCP 2846 scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-2846 En entity resembling a giant squid and a spectral ship chosen by a higher power to oppose it. Entirely possible that the squid is merely one of many extra dimensional criminals/horrors that were imprisoned by the Higher Powers and the squid (having fashioned itself a new form in this reality) is attempting to release his brethren. * SCP 2863 scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-2863 Giant spectral entities who resemble giant skeletons who apparently only materialise within the borders of Japan. No matter your explanation of this phenomenon, it gives your PCs a chance to explore Japan and their version of UNIT. * SCP 2954 scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-2954 A temporal loop focused on an attack by a Kaiju creature. If left alone, it’s entirely harmless but just who are these movie producers who supplied said creatures? * SCP 3008 scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-3008 An extra dimensional location resembling an IKEA. An accident caused by some malfunction dimensional tech or a deliberate attempt to create some form of safe house? * SCP 3082 scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-3082 A veritable paradise for children populated with linked and elaborate treehouses. When in this location, these children seemingly never age. Possibly the work of a small child with psychic potential who stumbled across a blank dimension and was able to refashion it to her will? * SCP 3640 scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-3640 Predatory organisms who reside in Florida and who resemble uniformed mascots as worn by the Walt Disney Company. Could make for a particularly strange encounter where your UNIT team/PCs have to team up with the legal department of the Disney Corporation to permanently put these creatures down. * SCP 3700 scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-3700 Two giant aquatic creatures engaged in a constant conflict with one another. And depending on the victor, their battle has a strange effect on the surrounding landscape. Easily enough to suggest their the truth behind the myth of Orcadian folklore. Or one of them. * SCP 3927 scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-3927 A taxidermied white mouse which is able to alter reality to a certain extent and has a slight rejuvenating effect on women of a certain age. * SCP 4973 scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-4973 The vengeful ghosts of killed D Class personnel. In the Whoniverse, they could easily be repurposed as deceased UNIT/Torchwood personnel who have been reanimated thanks to the work of some strange alien artefact. That or perhaps instead of the souls of the dead, they are the impressions of those poor wretches who found themselves erased from history.

An accident caused by some malfunction dimensional tech or a deliberate attempt to create some form of safe house? SCP 3008 is a fun one to be honest and one of my favourite SCPs, its just fun exploring the seemingly endless isles of furniture having to dodge and attack the Staff at night forming up communities with other trapped people having to survive off IKEA meatballs might be interesting for a campaign but would be difficult with how you exit it due to the exit taking ages to come for people to leave you probably could do it as UNIT outside of the building having to deal with things coming out though but would be a difficult one trying to include it into a doctor who campaign but still it is a good SCP in my opinion

Say a UNIT agent vanished into the Infinite IKEA years ago and now only just recently has escaped. Now possessing strange tattoos, combat and survivalist skills and a penchant for meatballs. Accompanied by plenty of bizarre stories to tell.

A rather lighter themed anomaly is 3583, a magic schoolbus (no, not that one) that picks up children (and a few adults) and takes them home safely. Though the trip is through a "hell dimension" that features the local city mixed with violent civil unrest, fires, public mass executions, volcanoes, earthquakes, variable gravity, lightning strikes, 'predatory megafauna' and 'animate cadavers of varying degrees of decomposition and mutilation'.
What I really like, and especially appeals as it fits with the Modus Operandi of the Misfit Mob is how blasé the school principal was, how accepting of the arrival of the "Men in Black" and how conscious of the financial bottom line.
Very much a solution Captain Sanford and her minions would appreciate.

What I find interesting about SCP 3583 is that despite the hazardous environments and creatures the bus comes across, the bus seems to be under no threat whatsoever. In fact, they never seem to even acknowledge the bus or it’s passengers. It does make me wonder whether the bus was originally designed as a tour bus for Multiversal tourists or even investors but it was repurposed while in this reality. I do like the fact that it was repurposed as a school bus and as you say it makes for a nice change than the simple “blow it up with a bazooka” routine. Would serve as a perfect example for PCs to think creatively when dealing with certain threats.

Here are a few more SCP entries: * SCP 527 scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-527 A man with a fish for a head. And that’s about it. More a fun Easter egg or if you need someone to populate the cells at UNIT. * SCP 1005 scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-1005 A sapient humanoid comprised of and with the ability to manipulate paint. Albeit with a limited capability. Otherwise perfectly professional and cordial. An otherwise ordinary human affected by alien technology or perhaps even a long lost masterpiece belonging to a forgotten or famous artist? * SCP 1499 scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-1499 A gas mask belonging to the Soviet era. When worn, it teleports the wearer and causes them to see strange hallucinations. Possibly a creation of the Russian equivalent of Torchwood or even an item that fell out of the Rift? * SCP 2014 scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-2014 Someone’s pet gecko which contains the consciousness of a radical extra dimensional entity. Could make up one of the Misfit Mob’s or PROBE’s stranger cases. * SCP 3887 scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-3887 A woman who has a curious relationship with the Monster Who Lives Under Her Bed. Again, the perfect case for someone such as The Misfit Mob or PROBE. * SCP 4026 scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-4026 A Guardian Angel who specifically manifests on a beachhead in Sussex and who tries to discourage others from taking their own lives. Might be more interesting if an adventure was held after the fact with your PCs having to investigate tales of someone having accidentally murdered an Angel. * SCP 4567 scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-4567 Living organisms which resemble oil rigs. Possibly some chameleonic species which arrived here sometime in the 20th century and moulded their appearance after the first thing they saw? * SCP 5818 scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-5818 A pretty bizarre phenomenon which occurs in a specific Burger King restaurant in Niagara Falls. Probably best off as yet another unsolved case in PROBEs files.

Here are a few more SCP entries. Should be the final ones from me (for the time being at least) * SCP 002 scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-002 A biological organism which uses living matter to refurbish its interior. Possibly a weapon that was sent from another planet or some probe that landed on Earth? * SCP 080 scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-080 A shadowy figure commonly referred to as The Bogeyman. Possibly a Nightmare from one of the various Shadow Dimensions made manifest? * SCP 167 scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-167 A cube which contains a labyrinthian structure. This one would be extremely easy to incorporate as an abandoned or dead TARDIS. * SCP 277 scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-277 A small town in which manifestations from children’s imaginations are commonplace and in which the residents claim to have always been around. With just a slight undercurrent of some hidden menace. Possibly the result of some deal made with a higher entity? * SCP 423 scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-423 A memetic entity by the name of Fred who can insert himself into any narrative or written work. Considering Fred has no physical form, I like the idea of him having unexpectedly appeared in one of PROBE or UNIT’s files one day. * SCP 767 scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-767 Crime scene photographs with deadly properties. Possibly kept in PROBE/Edward Buchan’s Crime Archive in Whitechapel with strict instructions not to open it. * SCP 987 scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-987 A collection of mirrors (ever growing in numbers) which displays scenes of murders and which is maintained and protected by an unseen Curator. Reminds me a great deal of something from Sapphire and Steel. With the mirrors acting as a snapshot of time. * SCP 1033 scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-1033 A middle aged man captured in a temporal loop which lasts for precisely thirty-three seconds. * SCP 1295 scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-1295 A group of four elderly (but extremely powerful) men who regularly patronise a small town diner. Harbingers of an apocalypse that never came? An apocalypse which the Doctor or your resident Time Lord PC averted? * SCP 1550 scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-1550 Larvae with metamorphic properties who adapt to their chosen environment. And which are sold to children as custom pets. Personally, I think there’s a great deal of storytelling potential in exploring just who Dr Wondertainment is. Maybe a family or a single individual who serves as the apprentice to the Celestial Toymaker? * SCP 1875 scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-1875 A chess automaton which contains the consciousness of two child chess prodigies. * SCP 4419 scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-1875 An ambulance which appears out of nowhere to make gruesome repairs to injured people. Is it perhaps an ambulance ship which is trying to fulfil its programmed purpose but has no knowledge of the human form ala The Empty Child? * SCP 4703 scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-4703 An independently owned supermarket which has a bizarre method of operation but all entirely within the word of the law. Strikes me as the sort of location the legal brain of the Misfit Mob may be tasked to navigate? * SCP 4959 scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-4959 An animated, decomposed pterosaur believed to have once been the avatar of the Feathered Serpent and to who sacrifices were made to. It is kept alive by a great jewel and is apparently unable to leave the temple it is confined to. Definitely something UNIT would keep under wraps. * SCP 4975 scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-4975 A humanoid entity with avian features which is believed to have been the inspiration behind several German folktales.

It does make you wonder who constructed the automaton. Was it an early attempt to preserve their consciousness (and genius!) for the benefit of future generations? Or the personal project of some truly sick and twisted individual?

Alright, I lied. I’m back with more chosen entries but what can I say, the SCP wikia just has some great ideas in it. * SCP 185-FR: scp-int.wikidot.com/scp-185-fr A few instances of what looks like oversized wind ornaments that materialized in a forest. They create a zone around them in which every single form of kinetic energy is nullified: everything trapped inside said zone is permanently « frozen » like a statue, without any hope of ever being rescued as anything that would try to get inside would fall victim to the effect. The worst part? New instances keep popping up, each one increasing the area of effect. One of the many apocalyptic scenarios which UNIT is preparing itself for. * SCP 738: scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-738 A collection of furniture consisting of a desk and two chairs. If someone sits on one of the chairs, it will summon an invisible entity that will attempt to make a deal with them for whatever they desire. However, the cost of the deal will consist of something of equal or greater value from the subject. I like to imagine that Kate Stewart or one of the higher personnel when confronted with a threat they couldn’t possibly defeat, used this artefact to make a deal and stop said threat. * SCP 2146 scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-2146 The corpse of a bowhead whale orbiting the Earth. For some strange reason, it broadcasts radio and television shows. * SCP 2191 scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-2191 A church inhabited by a species of parasitic worm that mutate people into vampires. A giant monster buried below the church has total command over the vampires. Possibly one of the many vampiric species UNIT has encountered and defeated over the years. * SCP 2316 scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-2316 A lake shrouded in mist filled with floating corpses. Those who look at the corpses will percieve them as people from their past and will enter the lake to retrieve them, causing them to turn into another corpse for the lake. A phenomenon which an older Cindy Harker may have encountered and which she was only able to resist thanks to the intervention of Bela. Might have even led to her encountering UNIT for the first time. * SCP 2347: scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-2347 A designed Human Phoenix and who is capable of involuntary heat transmission and exothermic self-resurrection. UNIT may officially just deem him as merely another human affected by alien DNA but unofficially it’s entirely possible he was a test subject in an attempt by them to instil regenerative qualities akin to the Doctor in their agents. * SCP 2424: scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-2424 A purple walrus with cybernetic enhancements, including a laser cannon in its mouth. It turns out to be an end boss from an anomalous video game titled "Eskimo Moe". Possibly an escapee from the Land of Fiction or one of the Celestial Toymaker’s creations? * SCP 4831: scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-4831 An ordinary bathroom within an ordinary home in the United States. One day the bathroom locked itself becoming indestructible and impervious to all attempts to access the interior. Trouble is, Tucker Miles the 17 year old son of the household was inside when the effect occurred and is now trapped within. All attempts to rescue him have failed. Probably best served as one of those strange cases which UNIT has yet to solve but isn’t exactly high on the list of their priorities. Although I’m imagining they’re offering counselling and support for Tucker and his parents. * SCP 5045: scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-5045 A virtual reality game that is compatible with most virtual reality headsets titled "Goat VR." Before discovery, SCP-5045 could be downloaded at several websites dedicated to obscure games, as well as its own website. Houses a sinister and powerful entity by the name of “The Farmer” who, possibly through the use of Block Transfer Computations, is able to manipulate the real world. “The Farmer” is responsible for the deaths of at least two UNIT agents and one PROBE operative. * SCP 6502: scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-6502 Harwick Cemetery. A burial ground in the United States where humans buried alive within the cemetery are unable to die. While subjects’ bodies undergo the typical decomposition process, their mental faculties and higher intelligence remain intact even past the point of total bodily decay as long as they are interred. Could possibly be one of UNIT’s guilty secrets where the morally ambiguous Director Bones use it as a means to keep vital staff members and scientists alive for future use. * The Church of the Broken God: (As posted from the TV Tropes page) They're a religious cult that worships technology, including mechanical SCP items, believing them to be fragments of their Clockwork God. According to them, God is a machine that was long ago shattered into many artifacts that were then scattered across the globe. When the chosen ones manage to find these artifacts and rebuild him, they'll be rewarded with godhood. As for everyone else, well... The Church sees natural life as inherently defective or even evil. As a result, church members often have large portions of their bodies augmented or replaced with advanced prosthetics. The more you have, the closer you are to God. Sound familiar? Could quite easily see the Cybermen manipulating said group.

* SCP 3564 scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-3564 A strange malformed creature believed to be one of many failed clones of William Shakespeare. Personally I just really love the idea of a villainous theatrical group which uses alien technology to aid them or enhance them in their artistic endeavours.

From the Fifth Doctor Big Finish audio, you mean? Could work but would need a few necessary changes. Personally I’m imagining said theatrical troupe is made up of a group of extremely morally indifferent “actors” with delusions of grandeur regarding their own talent. When I mean morally indifferent, I mean rather like Doctor Marshall Manor Meyer except of course on the extreme end of that. I get the impression Meyer might lend a hand if he felt like a situation he had caused had really got out of hand. Or if it felt it may hurt future business opportunities. But this group (let’s call them the Merry Wanderers for now) have devoted their lives to the craft and use any means possible to enhance their performance. Say for instance blowing up a star to serve as an impressive backdrop during a particularly dramatic set piece in one of their plays. Never mind the inevitable loss of life that would cause. To tie it into this SCP, I imagine that they tried to clone Shakespeare numerous times in order to use his genius to pen new, original plays for them. But for whatever reason, they could never perfect the process and abandoned their last attempt. The only reason they never tried to go back in time and abduct the Immortal Bard himself is because they thankfully don’t have access to time technology. Yet. Mind you, it’s not like it would have helped them much. Their mediocre and over the top performances wouldn’t have done justice to the material had they succeeded. Think Edward Lionheart from the masterpiece that is Theatre of Blood as an example. No doubt they’re also responsible for the deaths of a few critics as well.
