Basically what the title says. Been reading 'The Black Archive' sourcebook as of late, and I was coloured curious. Has anyone ever ran or played through a successful UNIT or branch of Torchwood campaign? If so, then what were the details of it? Did you take inspiration from pre existing UNIT or Torchwood material or craft your own team? What threats did you face? Both original and from show continuity.

Little late but I ran one a while back. There is a thread I made about it on here but to summarize the party was members of Torchwood Five. They started out kinda like the show with Great Intelligence making a evil plot to take over the world with smart phones. It was revealed at the end that the Intelligence was part of a mysterious organization known as the Coalition. The next session was based off of one of the scenario ideas in one of the books and dealt with a Weeping Angel on plane. This led to the whole world being infected by angels at the end. The Third and Fourth Sessions dealt with the aftermath of the Flight as Angels are taking over the world while a villain known as the Thirteen uses the opportunity to activate a modified Doomsday Chronometer which proceeds to destroy time and space. The last two sessions were fun but tough. The party called the Doctor for assistance and together they managed to save the reality. The best advice I can give would be give the players enough freedom to tackle the situation as they want and make sure everyone knows Torchwood. I was playing with players that didn't and many left due to how different it is from a doctor Who session. That was a VERY simplified version. You can read more about the complete set up like their base and the NPC Torchwood members here: dwaitas.proboards.com/thread/3904/doctor-who-adventures-time-torchwood
