Number 5 should be 'Centuries' and all headings need moving down one row.

I really don't like that table. Especially the use of 'eon' and 'epoch' which are effectively meaningless in this context.

If you want to skip from the Jurassic to the Devonian, Epochs are ok. Eons are anyone's guess.

If you want to skip from the Jurassic to the Devonian, Epochs are ok. Eons are anyone's guess. Yep, they're basically undefined, except for geological frames, and very variable.

Eureka! The author of the Time Traveller's Companion Mr. Nathaniel Torson also wrote the wonderful 'Barbarians of the Aftermath', a sourcebook for the Barbarians of Lemuria roleplaying game and he uses the same terminology for an Epoch and Eon there.
In this case he clearly states an Epoch is 10 Million years and an Eon is half a billion years. (p.27).
