“Science Leads” One for a UNIT campaign. An accident causes your UNIT operatives to end up in the far future. A future where due to unknown reasons Torchwood, The Forge and UNIT have merged together into one entity and using the advanced alien technology at their disposal have created a veritable utopia. A world where all manner of diseases have been eradicated and hunger is a thing of the past, the human lifespan has increased significantly and Earth has an expansive Empire across the a galaxy and has even begun negotiations to ally itself with other alien worlds. It’s perfect. Perhaps a little too perfect. Your UNIT operatives will have to investigate just who is in charge of this new government/scientific entity and what creating this utopia has cost humanity. And just what caused these very separate organisations to merge together in the first place? Bit of a cliche when it comes to stories but I think it could be fun if your UNIT operatives in a way are left contemplating the legacy they leave behind for the future of UNIT and humanity. Hmm, my first thought is they see a monument.
An octagonal obelisk bearing a plaque: with their names underneath.
I really like that idea. Really ties in with the idea of "There is no such thing as an unimportant human"
They might just be mere personnel in their eyes, no one that important, but their deaths would ultimately serve as the catalyst for the creation of this Brave New World. Unless of course their deaths were merely used as a smoke screen for whoever managed to seize control of UNIT/Torchwood/The Forge and merge them together into one entity. You could use a lot of pre existing characters to suggest a sinister undertone. The Curator is nowhere to be seen, The Master has either been lobotomised with his mind serving as possibly an organic computer or he has been experimented on for many years and now in his last incarnation he has been thrown into some prison somewhere to rot. Until they inevitably need more genetic material. Stuff like that. Would make for a nice story arc for a UNIT campaign now that I think about it. A series of adventures which ultimately builds towards the Battle for Edinburgh. Some PCs might have no issue with effectively marching towards their deaths if it means the creation of this utopian future while others might be a bit more reticent. Although, much like most cases involving time travel the fact they are now aware of this possible future might change the circumstances which led to its creation.

In fact, you could suggest that although regeneration does create small to sometimes drastic changes in personality it doesn’t exactly erase any feelings of guilt you might have. As you suggested, these spectral apparitions could be conjured up from the Time Lord PCs subconscious mind after coming into contact with some artefact or another. Or even if your PC has recently had to have a mental duel with some alien intelligence like The Great Intelligence, it might have broken down some walls/barriers within the Time Lord’s mind or left some trace of itself behind which accounts for these phantasms.

Or a subtle plan orchestrated by several previous incarnations to finally end some plot that's been going on throughout his lives...

I love that. A more curmudgeonly Time Lord PC might be slightly reticent to talk to Sigmund Freud about these apparitions. There are much better psychoanalysts in the universe and he might just view this attempt at help from his companions as just "any excuse to meet a celebrity.." I do like the idea of this being apart of some grand plan orchestrated by his previous incarnations which his current one is unaware of. I have this image that Freud has the Time Lord under hypnosis to allow his subconscious mind to speak out. Which in turn allows his previous incarnations to talk through him. Sometimes alternating between several at once. It'll be a Multi Time Lord story like no other.

Children of the Night
Your PCs find themselves involved in a very strange adventure when they have to protect aging star Bela Lugosi from becoming a victim of members of his vampiric family club. Turns out that even bloodsucking monsters are fans of Dracula!
An adventure which can be played seriously or for laughs.

The Lords of Time
Your Time Lord PC is forced to choose between their fondness for Earth and their innate loyalty to Gallifrey when human beings finally discover time travel technology and launch a full frontal assault on the planet and the Time Lords.
I’m actually surprised this hasn’t been done before. Could make for a different take on the Time War really.

BTW, it's possible to use the Excel INDEX and RANDBETWEEN functions to use the lists in my spreadsheet to generate random combinations. The attached file includes this.
So, I wonder what Enemy of the Tharil and Menace of the Cybermen are about?

“Children of the Carrionites” sounds like it could be a good 17th century take on John Wyndham’s “The Midwich Cuckoos” while “Enemy of the Tharils” sounds like it could be a historical epic focusing on the history of the species.

A slightly expended version.
<button disabled="" class="c-attachment-insert--linked o-btn--sm">Attachment Deleted</button>
I like this! I got Remembrance of the Xylok, I can see it being an homage to Sarah Jane Smith with Mr Smith rebooting himself to try and recruit Luke and the others maybe or could even be about the Xylok species itself who knows, but this title generator is very much fun for the X of the Y style! could you also do more for the other style of stories specifically Single Word, X at/on/of Y, Threatening Phase, Descriptive Phrase and finally Poetic phrase as well?

I could see such a story focusing on a particularly academic member of an alien species attempting to write a history of the Xylok race. Unfortunately with the race believed extinct, he’s had to go to Bannerman Road to interview the only surviving member he can find. Close ally of Sarah Jane Smith, the astute and powerful Mr Smith. Said encounter, however, may just result in the destruction of Planet Earth and the beginning of a new era for the universe. The Age of the Xylok has begun.

Power of the Eternals: The universe is made up of ghost stories. Tales of evil beasts and Arch Fiends who rule and prey upon the lesser species. Fenric, The Great Intelligence, the Children of the Maw.
And then there was The First.
An Eternal who like so many of his species possessed vast powers but lacked the creativity to make full use of it. However, unlike his omnipotent brethren he intended to do something about it. Journeying to the Point of Stillness, he unlocked the building blocks of his mind giving him tremendous clarity, some say at the cost of his own sanity.
After wreaking havoc on a dozen worlds, the Eternals stepped in and imprisoned the First within a pocket dimension. An impossible prison from which he could never escape.
That is until the outbreak of the Time War. With the war raging on throughout every part of creation, the Eternals quickly fled this universe for realities new. Without their presence, the walls which made up the First’s prison would quickly weaken until he would inevitably escape. Ready to cause some chaos on an unsuspecting world. A world such as Earth. Which is where your PCs step in.
Children of the Toymaker: When your PCs find yourself once again back in the Celestial Toyroom, they soon discover its under new management. Somehow his Toys have overthrown their master and imprisoned him deep within his own realm. What starts off as a the beginnings of a new civilisation quickly becomes a nightmare in the making leading your PCs to mount a rescue mission to retrieve the former lord and master.
Revenge of the Meep: An incident with a misplaced Vortex Manipulator and a historian looking to write an academic piece on the history of the Meeps leads to the Most High looking to change his own history. Should he succeed then the Black Sun will never set on the Empire of the Meeps.

Indeed. I think there’s a great deal of potential in having Beep the Meep as a recurring villain for a campaign. After all, we never did find out what caused the phenomena of The Black Sun. Perhaps even for a good introductory campaign for younger players? He veers on the right side of being both cuddly and cruel at the same time. Personally, I’d love to find an excuse to stick him in my game but without simply resorting to doing an adaptation of ‘The Star Beast’ ala supposedly the modern BBC. In any case, I just love the idea of doing a Silence of the Lambs homage where some alien psychologist attempts to interview him and he embarks on a series of mind games.

Sigh. Looks like I’ll add them to the ever growing list... I do think there’s a great deal of potential in the idea of someone becoming interest in the psychological effects of being exposed to Black Sun radiation. Especially considering how vague it is. It somehow turned a race of peaceful and playful creatures into cruel despots and tyrants while Beep mainly used it to brainwash others. Imagine a military organisation using the radiation the Black Sun produces to turn peaceful creatures into bloodthirsty warriors or even to utterly neutralise threats before they have a chance to wage war. (Is it possible you could create a race of peaceful Daleks and Sontarans for example?) And of course as you suggested Beep is the perfect person (and perhaps the only one left in the universe!) who could provide further info in its inner workings which enable him to use said relationship to his advantage and make his escape. No doubt he’d just spin his shrink a sob story anyway.

Naturally they're due to arrive at midnight, giving the PCs time to prepare
Perhaps a version of the circle scene from The Devil Rides Out? With someone improvising an Electric Pentacle? And the protectee has been meddling with Things Man Was Not Meant To Meddle With, time travel perhaps? And has their own plan, to escape when the Hound consumes the PCs.....
2: Reaper's calling In the countryside, or perhaps a city, a there are stories of mysterious creature, seen only after dark, and resembling a giant gargoyle or pterodactyl. And advertising stunt for the new dinosaur film? Or somnething else. Something else of course. The location the creature is 'haunting' is going to be the scene of a small temporal event, but it hasn't happened yet (the reaper is early) and the creature is stuck.
5: Criminal Masterminds An ironic title perhaps? Something like 'The Moles' episode (imdb) of Tales of the Unexpected? The episode can be watched here.
A group of would-be criminals, perhaps with accidental access to advanced technology, try their hand at crime.
Hilarity ensuresm until events turn tragic.

I was thinking with Criminal Masterminds was either a pure historical or pseudo historical involving Al Capone in a film noir style when I tried coming up with ideas with that, Al Capone is someone not used on doctor who and would make a great antagonist or even protagonist.
