'Childish Things'
After rummaging their ship/TARDIS/main mode of transport, the PCs discover a strange object. An ordinary rabbit made out of cloth and rags. No one knows who this belongs to but they can't help but shake a sense of familiarity regarding it. All of them remember this simple rabbit appearing or playing a role during their childhood or earliest days. Even the Robot or other extremely alien PCs seem to have deja vu when it comes to this toy. The question, of course, is why?
Note: Works best with an extremely varied TARDIS crew. Really play up the strangeness and mystery surrounding this rabbit. Two Earthlings might have reasonably stumbled across this at one point or another during their lives but an Ood? Or a Cybermen? I doubt it.
'TPK'
After centuries of hopelessly trying to fill the void that is immortality, the Celestial Toymaker has finally found his greatest game yet. Tabletop Roleplaying. Abducting our PCs, he forces them to play through his specially made Sword and Sorcery campaign creating an entire fantasy world in his Toyroom with him serving as the worlds' god or more appropriately GM. To lose is to become his toy and remain forever in his Celestial Toyroom. Trouble is the Toymaker is not the fairest of GMs and will try his utmost to prevent our heroes from succeeding.
'Mr. Widemouth'
Your PCs under the pretence of being child psychologists interview a child who proclaims to have an imaginary friend much like a Furby called Mr. Widemouth who encourages them to do dangerous things yet is unable to be seen by their parents. Mr. Widemouth however, is very much real and does not at all approve of the PCs arrival. In fact, he is very, very angry.
Note: Based on the Creepypasta of the same name.
'The Burger Wars'
A malfunction with the TARDIS causes it to land in the US in an alternative and extremely bizarre future. The entire country after being destroyed in an unspecified nuclear war has now been divided up among the descendants of various fast food corporations. The most prominent of these being the great-great-great-great-great grandson of Ronald McDonald and the Burger King and their deranged followers. With their TARDIS captured, the PCs must pick a side if they stand any chance of surviving this strange world.
Note: Based on an old Judge Dredd comic strip in 2000 AD. Honest.
As per usual if anyone has any suggestions, criticisms or general ways to expand on this idea (as well as my previously posted 'The Show Must Go On' idea) please don't hesitate to speak up.
