First I have to say, I'm completely new with the Doctor Who roleplaying game and this forum, so I apologize for my mistakes.
Shortly I will host a Doctor Who roleplaing game for my pen&paper group. Because of time and space (sorry, couldn't resists) we will play this online (TeamSpeak, Skype maybe). Well, because we are not around a table I was looking for a way to store, manage and view the character sheets online. Saldy I haven't found any solution that matches my whises of easy to use and nice looking. So I have written it by my own.
Now here is the "Doctor Who Adventures In Time And Space Online Character Sheet" (DWAITAS Online Character Sheet).
The design is inspired by the Eleventh Doctor character sheet. The boxes are fixed size but will be automatically arranged by browser window size (responsive design). You can add new characters, change values and save, load or delete sheets.
This "program" is provided to host it on your own webspace. You can use it as you wish. The DWAITAS Online Character Sheet files would be distributed as is under the creative commons license CC BY 3.0 (Attribution 3.0 Unported) for free.
To keep it as simple as possilbe I'm not using a database but store all data on files (technically JSON files). To host it on your own server you just need a working PHP.
The files of your sheets are based on your characters name. If you save a sheet, a copy of the old sheet will be saved with a timestamp on a backup sub-folder on your server. If you delete a sheet, it just will be moved with a timestamp to the backup folder. This is because the admin (presumably you) can restore deleted character sheets and older saves as needed.
Additionally you can add pictures for your characters if you like. You just have to copy a corresponding image file to the image folder and it will be loaded within the character sheet. In this version, there is no image file upload button, so the admin have to do this manually.
At the moment, there is no user management. Everyone can add, change and delete your character sheets!
The DWAITAS Online Character Sheet is multilingual. You can translate every part of the sheet (box titles, attributes, skills, labels, ...), but not the content of course. Additionally most parts are provided with tooltips. Out of the box it comes with English, but I have made English text and German tooltips already. But feel free to translate it on your own language, it's just a simple JSON file (template included).
Because I don't know how liberally Cubicle 7 and/or the BBC are with this kind of stuff, I haven't made a download link right now. And I don't know if anybody interested in general. But here are some screenshots I have made to show how it looks like (click on the images to show fullsize):
