Hello everyone
I'm currently working on a Martian episode, set a few years after the events shown in "Pyramids of Mars" and I was wondering about the "Horus Pyramid" (ie the pyramid that was holding the Eye of Horus). Since the Eye was destroyed, would it be logical to think that the pyramid was destroyed too (as some kind of chain reaction since one might reason that the Eye of Horus provided all the power and energy to keep the place running)? Unless I'm mistaken, there's no clear indication of this (either way) in the TV episode, so I'd like to know you expert Whovians' opinions about this. Thanks in advance!

The Pyramid still exists as confirmed in an episode of "The Sarah Jane Adventures" when Sarah Jane has Mr Smith jam transmissions from a Martian probe just before it encounters the structure.

In the Dark Dimension campaign, we assumed that the Horus Pyramid remains intact following the events of "The Pyramids of Mars." In fact, it played a crucial role in the resolution of "Barge of the Dead," an adventure featuring the Osiran crocodile god Sebek. The Doctor and Alison were able to repurpose the chamber that once held the Eye of Horus, imprisoning Sebek there for all eternity.

And don't forget about the Egyptian sarcophagus seen in Torchwood in "Army of Ghosts."
