I'd put it somewhere between good and amazing, but slightly more on the side of amazing. A bit of a slow starter but once it all clicked together it was fantastic!

The Davros plot was very well done. Some great Dalek Battle Armour operational info and nuggets about Gallifreyan history and the Doctor's past.

my Friend on SL was righ. but did that use any of doctors registrations up I remember in some episode last season (pretty sure it was Deep Breath) the Doctor made a remark about not knowing how many regenerations he has now. I guess that's a convenient enough get-out clause.

I'm sure Davros spent all his story points on his Convince (deception) roll in that amazing scene.

Like Ninjaconor, I thought it was somewhere between good and amazing, but more on the good side. There were some great moments. The Davros/Doctor moments were quite cool. I hope this season focuses on the mystery of what's on the Doctor's confession. Taken as a whole, these first two episodes were very entertaining.

Awesome episode - though I was hoping that we'd spot one of the Giant Mutant Clams from Genesis in the Dalek sewers!

The performances in this were absolutely stunning. I was mesmerized by Bleach, and Gomez kept the pace up with her unpredictable antics. The Doctor? His companion? Davros? The Master? And the Daleks? All in top form in a single episode?! And on top of all that, the episode's driving premise forced the audience and their hero through a moral and emotional wringer. This was an amazing episode.
