You've waited long enough! Here's the third volume to act as companion to the 50th Anniversary Doctor Who sourcebooks for Cubicle 7's Doctor Who RPG. The gaming company covers the Doctor Who canon; so myself and a very small squad of contributors (there's room, join us!) mean to create similar books for each Doctor covering his extracanonical adventures from novels, audios, comics and more. You can download (or just read) it at www.siskoid.com/ExpandedWho/index.html in high (printable) or low (computer screen) resolution, and if that somehow gets knocked out from too much bandwidth being used, the working copy is also at drive.google.com/file/d/0B4RRnRNaDS5wMUdvajM2TmdzUDg/view?usp=sharing. We got hit with delays on this one, but the 4th Doctor book is already quite advanced, so we're hoping to launch the next one for the Holiday season (yes, I know, promises, promises). This 122-page pdf document features at least one entry from each Third Doctor novel and audio, plus material from short stories, comics, and even the televised show itself (with long-running Doctors like Pertwee, C7 couldn't put everything in). You'll find people, monsters, places, dates, gear, even Venusian Aikido rules. There's a timeline that puts it all together, and adventure seeds aplenty for the prospective GameMaster. While I did the layouts, coordination, and editing, most contributions came, once again, from Peter "misterharry" Gilham, to whom I am most grateful. A pedantic proofreader as well, he saved me innumerable times from my propensity for typos. Thanks must also go Nathan "Dastari" Laws who's been with the project since volume 1, and newer contributors Olivier Legrand, Jay Epps and Brenden Wright (the latter's spot illustrations filled the book out nicely, and I hope to get him to send me more work from his corner of Middle-Earth for the next one). My personal thanks to everyone who's kept up with the projects through the last long months when it didn't always seem like we'd get it done. I hate winter months for that. Bleak, stressful and unproductive. You can help make the next one hit its deadline, of course. Check out the list of things we're looking for in The Extracanonical Tom Baker; maybe you can help us out with words or pictures. If you don't know the game very well, we've got guys who can stat it all up for you. Get in touch, we'd love to have more collaborators. If you like Fourth Doctor novels and audios (and I hear Tom has a bit of a following), that could be you!

This looks incredible. I'm assuming the Third Doctor's bits in Interference I/II will be covered in the Eighth Doctor book?

I am dismayed you didn't include my Eggs Delgado: Cut out the hard-boiled eggs, I said. Quite apart from their effects on my digestion, they're aesthetically boring.

The Update will contain a cookery section. There must be some inspiration from this little beauty: The Jon Pertwee CookbookEDIT: Sorry, having trouble with the image and had to replace it with a link instead.

Guys, I have just found these excellent additions to the Doctor Who universe. My children and I love this game, and I am looking forward to incorporating this "new" (to them, anyways!) material into our sessions.
A thousand "Thank Yous!" would not be enough to convey the appreciation I have for the amount of thought, effort and obvious sweat that has gone into these productions. I am going to have to go back and reread the novels that are referenced in these works, to be sure, a task to which I am heartily looking forward to performing.

Fantastic stuff! One surprising absence was the Ugraks from the TV Action Pertwee strips. Has anyone statted them up yet?

Fantastic stuff! One surprising absence was the Ugraks from the TV Action Pertwee strips. Has anyone statted them up yet? They were certainly on my short list of things to include from the 3rd Doctor comics, but they didn't make it to the final cut. I can't remember exactly why now - it's been a few years since the 3rd Doctor book was written. Possibly it was just that when I revisited the story, they simply didn't inspire me enough at the time and got put aside. I may even have intended to go back to them, but forgot. Anyway, they're already on my list to include in a future Third Doctor Addendum, along with Professor Lammers from the same story. The Addendum is likely to be worked on next year, hopefully for publication around Christmas 2018 (it's the 2nd Doctor's turn this year). But if you want to write up the Ugrakks now, be my guest!

Oh you can’t beat Mr. Grizzfizzle and the rest of the gang. Took place in one of the televised Royal Variety Performances featuring the Queen Mother where in contrast to recorderd history the Scorchies were one of the acts. The PCS teamed up with the likes of Arthur Askey and Ken Dodd to stop them. Askey almost lost his life distracting the Mice with a rendition of ‘Busy little Bee’ and Ken Dodd tickled Mr. Grizzfizzle with his tickling stick. Thankfully, Mortimus and the others were able to reverse the signals and broadcast them into deep space. The adventure ended with the PCs, Askey amongst the other performers onstage singing a rendition of ‘Auld Lang Syne’ to standing ovation. To cap it all off, Mortimus ended up with a photo signed by all of the performers to add to his collection. Placing it right next to the glass case containing his former Monk disguise. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves, as we all have a shared love of that old fashioned style of British variety/music hall comedy. And of course, the Scorchies were delightful. Well, as delightful as a bunch of incorporeal psychopaths can be.
