Titan comics (12th Doctor year 2) have provided more information of events in the War, including a companion The Squire. Not all the skirmishes and battles are fleshed out but maybe some could be mentioned as titles of seeds.

I'm hoping my copy has also arrived today too - will have to wait until after work to find out. Also, a further Seasons of War book has been announced - here's the text from their Facebook page: From the team that brought you SEASONS OF WAR – Tales From A Time War Unofficial War Doctor Charity Anthology, raising money for CAUDWELL CHILDREN, comes:
Seasons Of War
A HISTORY OF THE TIME WAR

The Brevet
(Grand Archivist Of Arcadia, scribe of The XVII Kasterborous Fleet, & Part-time Bookseller)
-----------------------------------------------
Conceived, edited and project overseen by DECLAN MAY, (with other authors & collaborators TBA) ‘A HISTORY OF THE TIME WAR’ will be fully illustrated, running to an estimated 700- 800 pages and has been created to raise important funds and awareness for the charity CAUDWELL CHILDREN.
It is our intention to release this book – which will be an extremely limited edition – in OCTOBER 2017 (TBC), but please check back soon for more exciting announcements regarding SEASONS OF WAR, A HISTORY OF THE TIME WAR, and a very special and thrilling announcement regarding an associated project…

Where can I find out more about this History of the Time War? There isn't any more info yet - more details will be released shortly, apparently. The only thing I've found is in the comments under the Facebook announcement, the publisher added the following: " It's not 'stories', but a full history, in prose, epic poetry, artwork, footnotes and 'historic' pieces like epistolary material written by 'historians' and 'participants' and 'witnesses' to the Time War. We're using a small team of writers, illustrators and editors to make it look and feel like an actual, weighty Historical Tome." No hint as to when it might be available for pre-order. But given the October 2017 release date (and that's still TBC), I'd suggest it won't be until well into next year.

Sadly, Declan May has announced that this book has been cancelled and that's it for Seasons of War. It's all ended rather abruptly and I'm not sure of the reasons behind the decision.

Where has this been reported? There's nothing on the Facebook page.
Declan posted the following on the Gallifrey Base forum in response to a member who said that they had seen the cancellation reported elsewhere (unspecified where though):
There were several reasons for this (some very dull which I won't go into here) but we realised that the time and money spent on making more books, especially the big 'History of the Time War' Tome, would be better spent going directly to the Charity, to Caudwell Children. So any further action from Seasons Of War (special hardback one off edition, artwork auctions etc) will do just that: raise money for the charity. Which is, after all, the whole point in the entire project.
As I say, I can't really understand the reasons - if they want to focus on making money for the charity, I thought that was precisely what Seasons of War and potential future books like A History of the Time War were doing.

It's possible authors realised it was a big product and decided they wanted payment. I don't get why there would be so much paperwork selling an ebook to releasing a paperback. Why there was such delays is anybodies guess. Also, there was something mentioned about a book, 'The Agent', that fell off the radar last year. I hope Declan May made a lot of money. I for one can't live with the endless delays and waiting for him to fulfil his promises.
BTW, are there many differences between the ebook and the paperback?

It's possible authors realised it was a big product and decided they wanted payment. It's possible I guess, but I doubt that's what happened - there's just too much history of charity publications among Doctor Who fans for anyone to seriously expect to be paid for their contributions (and enough people willing to write for free for it not to be an issue anyway, even it that were the case). I've not noticed any differences, though I've not gone through the print version with a fine-toothed comb - so far as I'm aware, the two are identical.

Despite the previous announcement cancelling future Seasons of War titles, it seems that there is to be one more book after all - the following is from the Facebook page: SEASONS OF WAR THE HORDE OF TRAVESTIES AND A HISTORY OF THE TIME WAR By Declan May
The anthology, SEASONS OF WAR, ended on something of a cliffhanger. Something we intended to address in the subsequent anthology volumes. However, due to many circumstances, there were no further anthology volumes, and those of you who had been following our progress saw that any plans for sequels were shelved, due mainly to the fact that we believed SEASONS OF WAR to be a true one-off. However, due to popular demand, and a desire to raise even more much needed funds for Caudwell Children, there will therefore be a novel, bridging the gap between SEASONS OF WAR and the events portrayed in ‘Day Of The Doctor’, as well as (in the same volume) an annotated ‘in universe’ ‘History Of The Time War’. The Horde Of Travesties: the War Doctor’s final, horrific battle before The Moment features the return of old enemies, a Gallifrey under attack on two fronts, and both the past and future in play. With everything resting on the increasingly desperate and angry man who used to be called The Doctor . . . A History Of The Time War, written by a mysterious historian, tells us in great detail the events of the War, from its first moments until its final Moment. Annotated, featuring stories, poetry from the front, accounts of Gallifreyans, soldiers, leaders . . . the true fate of President Romana, the search for The Master, all the battles and events, the moments where history itself was rewritten, the alliances forged and the times where the Time Lords themselves committed atrocities of such magnitude, the universe turned against them This book – available both as an ebook and paperback (with a very limited edition hardback version) – will be released in DECEMBER 2017 but pre-orders are open now, for a limited period. So if you want to secure your copy (or copies) you have the next four weeks to do so.
440pages Cover illustration by Raine Szramski *Note artwork below is not the cover Estimated publication date 10/December/2017

I've pre-ordered each of these other than the new expanded edition of A History of the Time War - paperback editions only though. To be honest, I'm a little nervous about the long lead times for these, bearing in mind that they're unofficial - hopefully there won't be any complications with the BBC in the meantime. There's an interview here with Declan May which mentions the situation with the BBC, which allays my nervousness a little: An Interview with the Editor of Seasons of War

Can someone help me out here? I've read Seasons of War recently but in my further research I read the phrase 'memento mori' referred to the resurrected time Lords like Andred but can't find the reference. Has any one read this and can confirm the reference? Thanks in advance.

I don't remember anything about Andred and co being memento mori. But in Scherzo, the Doctor says that the Time Lords think his companions are all memento mori, reminders of his mortality.

I decided to pick up the short trips 'A Heart on Both Sides' and 'All Hands on Deck' today. Stories of Nyssa and Susan during the Time War. I'm impressed by the ideas in these adventures which I hope are expanded on in the future.
