An interesting adventure.
The plan failed but nevertheless, I have reacquired the use of my TARDIS.
There is a global hue-and-cry for my blood though. It is especially risky and would be suicidal to remain on Earth so I think I shall leave it for a while.

Well, that was an interesting diversion on the planet Cephanis.
It didn’t take much to reduce it to a pile of cosmic detritus. I watched it burn and it was a spectacle of wonder.
The atmosphere caught alight and formed an orange aura that glowed like an eclipse.
There was a brief moment of melancholy, but it was fleeting, as it usually is. All weaker races destinies are to perish, ultimately. By my hand or others, or by the whims of the cosmos.
Captain Rendor was a worthy opponent. I think he even managed to escape before the planet’s core erupted. His dear Eslin didn’t fare well though. I daresay that her memory will burn in his heart for the rest of his pathetic life. Even more so when he will eventually open the outer pocket of his tunic to find her little body tucked in there. Perhaps he could make a useful key-ring holder out of it.
I estimate that about twenty percent of the population escaped.
Now to my plans for little Earth.

I find that alien life forms are increasingly more difficult to deal with given the greater differences from humanoids. We humanoids share a similar psychology but at it’s heart, all life has basic requirements and desires. I shall appeal to them. Humans call it ‘Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs’. I shall exploit these basic needs to ensure a successful entreaty.
All creatures feed.
Axos will suck Earth dry. You will be the most intelligent being left on an empty husk Doctor. I may deign to take you with me before the end if you beg me.
I shall have to be cautious during my negotiations this time. I cannot afford another unplanned reversal of fortune like with the Nestene. I am confident I shall have all contingencies covered.
