I was reading a review of the 11th Doctor edition of the game, and it mentioned the drama die and a hit location chart, neither of which are included in the Upgrade pack.
So are those rules available somewhere for this poor 10th Doc edition owner?

From the 11th Doctor edition:
OPTIONAL RULE: THE DRAMA DIE
If calculating Levels of Success slows your game down, the Gamemaster may decide to discard them and just stick with a simple success or fail. Alternately, if they still want a detailed result without the maths, they may have you roll a Drama Die to generate the Level of Success.
A Drama Die is a single differently coloured die that you add to all of your rolls. The normal dice determine your success or failure as normal. The Drama Die determines your level of success as shown below:
1 Success / Failure 2-5 Good / Bad 6 Fantastic / Disastrous
While a bit more random, the Drama Die is quick to read and can give a character levels of success that might normally be out their reach.
WHERE DOES IT HURT?
The Gamemaster usually determines which Attribute is affected, according to the source of the injury. If it’s a severe injury, the Gamemaster may apply all of the damage to one Attribute, effectively incapacitating the character from using that Attribute until they can get medical attention. A less severe one (a Failure, rather than a Disastrous) may take a little off of multiple Attributes.
For example, if the character is grazed in the leg by an arrow for three points of damage, the Gamemaster might decide that a point should come off the character’s Strength, due to their newly weakened physical state, from Coordination, as they’re less able to move about, and finally, from Resolve, as the injury will affect the character’s drive and determination.
As you can see, with a little imagination an injury can lead to great story effects and plot developments!
If you’re still stuck, or the action doesn’t easily indicate which attribute it affects or which part of the body is injured, you can roll randomly. Roll two dice and look on the table below.
Roll location attribute
2 - 4 Leg: Coordination, Strength, Resolve 5 - 8 Body: Strength, Resolve 9 - 10 Arm: Coordination, Strength, Resolve 11 - 12 Head: Any
If the location doesn’t work, or if the limb is behind cover, you can either roll again, or decide that the cover absorbs the damage.
