Pertwee said he'd sent the new ones to them. Maybe we need to get onto him about it?

That's a cue for a PDF release on drivethrurpg soon I hope. I don't know the exact date, as it may yet have to pass approvals but it certainly won't be far away. You've sent it to the printer without it having gone through approvals yet? That doesn't make sense.

And the advance pdf copies of The First Doctor Sourcebook are available to subscribers - I've just downloaded my copy! ;D First impressions? Well, I've just given it a cursory browse (it materialised in my e-mail box only a few hours ago ) and, well, the sheer amount of work AND (perhaps more importantly) available material is quite astounding, really. It details each story of the First Doctor era, with a very detailed plotline as well as extensive sections on how to run the adventure as a DWAITAS scenario, including stats for NPCs and several plot hooks for possible follow-up adventures (yes, for each story !). One of my main "fears" about this story-per-story approach is that they would simply repeat background information which can be found elsewhere but the book avoids this pitfall by adopting a real "by gamers for gamers" perspective right from the start (with some notes on how to give a "first doctor" feel to your campaign) and maintaining it through the whole tome... So, to sum up, my first impression is: VERY impressed. I can't wait to see this kind of treatment applied to, say, the Fourth Doctor . Kudos to C7 !

Personally, I would have liked to see stats for more of the historical celebrities than are provided - Nero, Richard the Lionheart and Saladdin, for example. But overall, very nicely done.

Nothing on Drivethrurpg yet... I think this was an advance release to subscribers only. Not sure when the general release is expected.

Actually, I have to say, not having a simple option to preorder seperate books makes no sense.
