I've only a few write-ups to offer for this volume at the moment:
Kevin, the robot dinosaur from the IDW comics Decky Flamboon, the 11th Doctor's current companion in the Doctor Who Adventures comic strip The Nadurni, aliens who first appeared in The Eye of the Jungle
I'll also cover The Eye of the Jungle's sequel, Sleepers in the Dust, as it features the Nadurni's arch-enemies.

What about future lives of non-existent characters? Just wondering if Little Brother Williams from The Pandorica Opens and Little Sister Amelia from The Girl Who Waited might be classed as extracannonical? They being characters derived from the series, but in the current timeline are no longer existing. However - in extracannonical sources, characters from alternate timeline can be rescued...

Interesting idea, but I think we should avoid placing fan characters in. If we were to do so, where would we draw the line on who to put in and who to leave out?

What about the Star Trek TNG/ Doctor Who crossover comic series? I know we have Borg and Data write up so far.

I'm not against it, though I wonder if doing the entire Enterprise crew wouldn't be a bit much for a Who supplement. Perhaps a few key characters (Data, Picard, Worf) and the Borg (with the Cybermen with Borg tech?).

I think including any of the Enterprise crew would be completely unnecessary for the Extracanonical book. It doesn't feel like a good fit and should be for something different. Just my thoughts on the matter.

Given that it was a licensed product, I'd say that if someone wants to stat up the TNG Crew, then they should be in the book.

Yes, it is a licensed product, but it would feel out of place suddenly having Star Trek properties in a Doctor Who book. But, it is a fan work, and if you guys want to go ahead and do it, don't let me stop you.

RE: Assimilation2 - maybe have it as a separate book/module of it's own so that it doesn't interfere with the rest of 11's off screen stories being fully included but is covered somewhere else for those who want it?

I was going to include all pertinent entries under the same entry, so it could be a special "crossovers" section at the back of the book. It was never going to be popping up all over the book.
Of course, we're talking about the Doc11 book, which is a LONG way off.

Excellent, I'll add them to the list. I'll probably go after some of the audios myself, and I could be convinced to do something for The Taking of Planet 5, The Year of Intelligent Tigers and the few others I have...

That's awesome! The 11th Doctor book is a ways off, but if it can use your text and art, that'd be great!

Hey, I noticed that you've left out three of the Eleventh Doctor's Books:
-Plague of the Cybermen by Justin Richards -The Shroud of Sorrow by Tommy Donbavand -The Dalek Generation by Nicholas Briggs
Figured I should let you guys know.

Thanks. It's just a matter of when the list was originally put up. I'll update it. There'll probably be more by the time we can to it, though the novels should switch to Capaldi soon.

And, indeed, with the recent announcement of three new novels featuring the Twelfth Doctor ( The Blood Cell by James Goss, Silhouette by Justin Richards, and The Crawling Terror by Mike Tucker), they have!

As for the Decide Your Destiny and 2-in-1 books (and possibly the stories from Tales of Trenzalore), I'll take Siskoid's lead but these are more short stories in length, aren't they? So we'd probably only cover a selection, rather than all of them. Similarly, with the comics, we've only been covering a selection of stories, rather than all. Though I imagine that from the Doctor Who Weekly stories onwards, there will be more concepts worthy of inclusion than there have been for the TV Comic days.

That's a shame about the Last Frontier. Maybe one day Big Finish will get around to it and release their version of it.
As for the Shorts, 2/1, etc I think if they have a unique monster, that should be mentioned; maybe a paragraph to summarize the plot synopsis, and one other factor (where it fits in the Doctor Who timeline, some interesting fact about the society the story takes place, whatever).
Also, I found one more book for the Codex, erroneously filed under the Fourth Doctor Novel's page on the Tardis wikia (he makes a brief cameo appearance but it is definitely NOT his story).
The Story is called 'Dark Horizons'

Sorry, but the scope of the project is to feature at least one thing from every novel and (full-length) audio, but only a sample from the short stories, annuals, comic strips and other peripheral media. There are literally hundreds of short stories out there. If we were to try to include something from every one of them, the workload would be overwhelming and the project would be impossible - we'd never get a single sourcebook produced. Besides, in a lot of cases, the brevity of the stories means that there just isn't enough background to be able to write anything for them.

I've got nothing against Choose your own adventure or role-playing material, BUT someone has to write it. So Scarecrow, if you care about these (or any short story you feel strongly enough about), please consider contributing them yourself! The submission guidelines are in the main post.

Why not have a look at what we've done so far for the 3rd Doctor volume (you can download the latest draft from the link in the thresd - on page 2, I think) and see what we've covered in the way of comics and short stories for that one so far? Are there any others you particularly want to see included? If so, would you be willing to give them a go? For a lot of them, it may just be that none of us currently writing have a copy of the story and aren't familiar enough with it. But if you do and are happy to help, we're always looking for new contributors. Just let the rest of us know which stories you'd like to pick up, to avoid duplication of effort.

Well, I suppose I could take Plague of the Cybermen, and Shroud of Sorrows. I already own and have read those so it'd be a good place for me to start.
I'll admit, my EU materials for the other Doctors is somewhat limited. I have some books for Doctors 8, 10, and 11 (as well as one book each for 7 and 9) and the Eighth Doctor's Blood of the Daleks audio play. I have started collecting more audios and books recently, but at the moment, that's what I have.
