I don't have anything already written for the 9th Doctor's volume. But I do have a few of the novels and the TBP collecting the DWM comics, so would be happy to look at these and see what I can do.

As with the number of 9th Doctor TV stories, the volume of spin-offs for this Doctor is very limited. But in a similar vein as including the Dalek movies in the Extracanonical Hartnell, maybe we can include a section for the alternative 9th Doctor sources - The Curse of Fatal Death and Scream of the Shalka.

Yes, I'd be up for that. Great idea.
I've read all the books, and have the comics collection too, so I'm not worried about this one's content.

Ha, I had the same thought as Mr Harry today about including Curse of the Fatal Death and Scream of the Shalka in this one and came over to suggest but its already here. I think it'd be neat to have the cover of this one with Eccleston in the front and flanked by Rowan Atkinson and Richard E Grant.

Sounds good to me. We could even throw in Seven Keys to Doomsday along with the Trevor Martin Incarnation. Not like there is a lot to fill up Eccleston otherwise. In fact his Destiny of the Doctor story is the only unlisted one, save the multi-Doctor stories...

In fact his Destiny of the Doctor story is the only unlisted one, save the multi-Doctor stories... Seven Keys to Doomsday actually fits better in the Off-Off Canon section of the 4th Doctor volume. The original stage version ran in the gap between seasons 11 and 12, and featured a pre-recorded image of the 3rd Doctor before regenerating into Trevor Martin - so he's an alternative 4th Doctor. I can't remember how Big Finish handled it in the audio version. There are, however, Big Finish's own Unbound Doctors to fit in somewhere... For the 9th Doctor himself, there's also the Puffin ebook, The Beast of Babylon, to add to the list, which features a new companion, Ali.

I'll had all that shortly. I think we're keeping the Unbounds for the spin-off book at the end (circa 2055).

Fair enough. I just figured since this one needed some padding...
Still between the above and Mr. Harry's appendium there is plenty here, no need to make this bigger than it already is.
The McCoys and McGanns are going to be huge enough. A nice small one should be a lovely change of pace.
And I think 2055 is a bit pessimistic. 2030 at the latest...at least for the first editions.

There's also The Beast of Babylon by Charlie Higson; the Ninth Doctor entry in the fiftieth anniversary novella collection. I've got the series as ebooks but haven't read it yet, so if no-one else is interested I'll take it on. BTW I loved the short story "Doctor vs Doctor", an excellent send up of the locked room mystery genre and Dickson in particular.

It's just about my favourite of the Puffin series. I've actually already drafted a write-up for Ali from The Beast of Babylon, but would be happy to pass the rest of the story over to you (I'm sure there are other things from it that could be included). However, it's likely to be some time before we reach the 9th Doctor volume - would you be interested in getting involved before then?

Items to boost the Ninth Doctor Codex/Sourcebook
BOOKS: The Albino's Dancer The Tomorrow Windows
AUDIO: Night of the Whisper
COMICS: The Love Invasion Art Attack (comic story) The Cruel Sea (comic story) A Groatsworth of Wit (comic story) Mr Nobody (comic story)
Personally, I also think that the War Doctor's Book 'Engines of War' should be folded in with the Ninth, as his role was meant to be filled by the Ninth Doctor, but Eccleston said no (at least, that's what I've heard). Still, that's just my opinion, so take that for what you will.

Items to boost the Ninth Doctor Codex/Sourcebook BOOKS: The Albino's Dancer The Tomorrow Windows Isn't the 9th Doctor's appearance in both of these just as the briefest of cameos? Totally agree with you on this - numerically, John Hurt is the true 9th Doctor so anything that stars the War Doctor should be included. In fact, that's already the plan I think.

The comic strips can also include the 9th Doctor sequences in: The Forgotten Prisoners of Time The Forgotten is really more of Tenth Doctor story, following his journey to regain his memories of his past lives (basically ripping off of the first Eighth Doctor Book 'The Eight Doctors'). Both it and Prisoners of Time have Ninth Doctor segments, but they aren't really HIS story. Those fit more with where ever Mutli-Doctor stories go.

...Multi-Doctor stories can go in the same book as the Unbound stories.
Title pending til the end of this project. So it should be done by 2035.

Both it and Prisoners of Time have Ninth Doctor segments, but they aren't really HIS story. Those fit more with where ever Mutli-Doctor stories go. Within The Forgotten, there are discrete stories for each of the Doctors individually, and within the overall Prisoners of Time series there was one issue for each of the incarnations. We've already been including elements from those in the sourcebooks for the relevant incarnation. So in the 1st Doctor volume, we've included an entry on Thomas Huxley (from Prisoners of Time #1), and in the 2nd Doctor volume we have the Frenko Bazaar (from Prisoners of Time #2). I think Siskoid is writing something from both The Forgotten #2 and Prisoners of Time #3 for the 3rd Doctor volume, which is the one we're currently working on. Of course, it's possible that there won't be anything suitable for inclusion in the 9th Doctor sourcebook from either of these series, but they are options to be looked at. Elements from multi-Doctor stories are being fitted into the most appropriate sourcebook. For Heart of TARDIS, we have a couple of entries in the 2nd Doctor sourcebook, but there may well be something else in the 4th Doctor volume as well. I'm thinking possibly the Collectors, as they were encountered by the 4th Doctor and Romana, but not the 2nd Doctor. By contrast, I suspect that The Eight Doctors will be restricted to just the 8th Doctor sourcebook (the sequences with previous incarnations are pretty much sidesteps from various TV stories, so most if not all elements from them are being covered in the Cubicle 7 sourcebooks).

Correct. We're doing each Doctor's chapters in their own sourcebook, unless it's obviously a specific Doctor's story with one or more others slumming it. The same way The Two Doctors is covered in the 6th Doctor book.

As well as Big Finish's announcement of their War Doctor audio series, it seems that the War Doctor also features in #1 of Titan Comics' Eleventh Doctor Year Two series. I've not picked up a copy yet, but I'm hoping it's more than just a cameo and that there's something we can use.

Do you mean the mini-series that's already out? Either way, it'll be in there.
I'm just not regularly updating lists on books that are so far ahead in time.

Do you mean the mini-series that's already out? Titan have recently announced that an ongoing 9th Doctor series will be launched in 2016. It's all fair game so long as it gives us useful stuff for the sourcebooks.

Terribly sorry for the 6+ year thread-necromancy, but this is the most suitable thread for my question. Will the Off-Off Canon of the EU 9th Doctor please include "Curse of Fatal Death"? Please?
Friendly greetings, Horus Lupercal.
