There's also a version of this picture but with the Doctor in his current Big Finish outfit, and a third version with him as he appeared in The Night of the Doctor.

I'm sure we'll be covering all of these companions in the sourcebooks. But does anyone want to have a stab at identifying them all?

Do you plan to have the Eleven appear in this sourcebook? To be honest, I wouldn't be upset if you didn't include him. You're already going to have so much to include in the time between now and when this sourcebook finally hits drafting stage.

I don't think there can be any doubt that the Eleven will feature somewhere in the sourcebooks. The Eleven is a major recurring villain in the recent McGann audios (and is one of my favourites, to boot!), so he's certain to be included. We might even add stats for some of his other incarnations that have been encountered - the Eight, the Nine and the Twelve.

The only thing is that he might not be included in this volume, but postponed for Volume 2. I think we'll need a major review of the 8th Doctor's timeline and a revision of what is to be included in each of his sourcebooks as the audio box-sets (from Dark Eyes onwards) are all set towards the end of the 8th Doctor's life - his change of costume and hairstyle point to that, and the box-sets lead into the Time War. So I don't think that Volume 1 will strictly cover audios and Volume 1 cover novels.

In fact, looking at the 8th Doctor timeline that the TARDIS Wiki now uses, it seems that we might switch Volumes 1 and 2 around almost completely. According to that timeline, the 8th Doctor novels (the BBC EDAs) come first, and the audios - including the ones with Charley Pollard and Lucie Miller, as well as the subsequent box-sets - all come after them.

Ah, trying to sort out a definitive chronology for the Doctors. Truly a mammoth task in itself even without creating a whole new sourcebook for each incarnation. Hopefully, Ninth Doctor onwards should be far easier and less time-consuming. Will we more than likely get a write up for the Crooked World for whatever volume the novels end up in?

Oh yes. There'll be something from every novel, so the Crooked World as a Location is pretty much certain, along with some rules to cover its strange physical laws and their effects on gaming.

Doc8's audio-referencing dialog in his 50th Anniversary appearance make the audios more recent for him than the novels, so it's pretty certain they would occur second.

Hey, all. Recently discovered your amazing work. My favorite Doctor Who stuff is the four seasons of McGann's "8th Doctor Adventures" with Lucie Miller. Is there any way I can assist with anything related to those four seasons?

New volunteers are always welcome! I'm assuming you're looking to write rather than provide illustrations (though the latter would also be most welcome). Are you familiar enough with the DWRPG rules (first edition for the time being) to be able to include stats with the write-ups? If not, it's not a problem - we can add these in or provide guidance, as you prefer.

With the Lucie Miller audios, we're a little way off starting work on this volume. We're still writing for the 8th Doctor Volume 1 at the moment and will then probably move onto a 6th Doctor Addendum before work on 8th Doc Vol.2 begins - most likely early next year. Another contributor has already expressed an interest in the Lucie Miller audios, but I'm sure we'll be able to sort something out.

I'm not sure if we're going to do a 6 Addendum in between the 8s, instead perhaps a book of Traits, which at this point would be pretty useful, but same difference. I would look to start on 8 vol.2 in 2022. Which doesn't stop anyone from starting to write entries, mind. We just need to coordinate.

As for 1st vs. 2nd, that's a debate to have elsewhere, though I've had conversations with various users and I know which way the votes are already going.

Hey, I'm the person misterharry mentioned who put their name down for writing entries for all of the Lucie stuff - I'd accept the lightened workload on my part, lol.

I'm still not done with listening through all of them (Beast of Orlok, today) so I can't present a full list of every possible entry I've written down as one to include- so, please feel free to respond to this post if there's anything specific you're just burning to write. If not, then in about two weeks when I post the list of everything I want to write you can just respond to it with 'can I do this one?'
Granted, the Lucie stories's format as lighter and faster-paced than the monthly range means we're likely to just naturally have slightly less material from them to work with, most stories will likely have one or two entries.

I've listened to all of them multiple times, and while I'm not an expert with the system, I have a passing familiarity with it, and have played in a few shorter campaigns.  I'm happy to help you handle any of those four seasons of material; whatever would help the work get done.

I am mostly a writer, though I do have some artistic skills I've used professionally before, so I may be able to help out with that element as well, as needed.

Gavin, please do check out the post entitled Submission Guidelines if you haven't already. Word count is an important factor when it comes to layouts, and there are other time-saving formats (for me, that is) I also like submissions to follow.

As for submitted art, I'm all for it, especially when the CD cover art doesn't supply it, but that's really up to you.

Yes, there are a few characters and monsters from the Lucie Miller series that I did write-ups for and posted on the forum back in the day. But as that was now nine or ten years ago, I suspect they suffer from my lack of experience at the time. Also, loads of new traits were introduced in the various sourcebooks published by Cubicle 7 since then. I've provided copies of the write-ups to drinkplentyofmalk in case they're of use, but I would imagine it would be better to rewrite them from scratch. I'm happy to provide them to gavindowning as well if he'd like them for reference.

As for my own plans for 8th Doc Vol.2 (when I get there), I'll probably start with Storm Warning, Charley Pollard's intro story, and work forwards from there, skipping the Lucie Bleedin' Miller audios.

As always, I'm happy to provide advice and guidance if anyone is unsure about anything.

Okay, so I may or may not have just listened to five audios a day since my last post - either way, I've a very rough list of what entries there are to write from the entirety of the Lucie Miller era. (Not counting Short Trips, but I plan on covering those anyway.)

Of course, it's a very rough list for a lot of reasons - a great deal of potential writeups shift around during the writing process, depending on page space, what material there is to work with and of course, what other things from the same story are best kept to sidebars opposed to given their own entries.
There's naturally no way of being concrete until the actual writing process - hopefully a few months from now, I need to give my brain a small break!
