When payday comes around, I'm planning on having a big finish binge that'll include some Sixth Doctor stories. Arrangements for War Medicinal Purposes The Juggernauts Catch 1782 Thicker than Water I might only be able to contribute the first 2 depending on how much of my income I'm prepared to set aside for big finish as I've already spent a lot on them recently. Some day I'll get round to buying DVD's of the actual show :/ Can I not tempt you with any of the earlier ones that I haven't yet covered, if you already have any of them (if you'd rather not have to buy new ones)? The Spectre of Lanyon Moor, The Apocalypse Element, The Holy Terror, Jubilee and Davros are all still available.

I'm more familiar with the 8th doctor stuff, especially since I've started collecting the novels so this is more unfamiliar territory for me. I'm also happy to do Judoon in Chains as I forgot to list that one. I'd be happy to do those ones for you. I'm new to this whole gig but I'm looking forward to setting some time aside when I can.

I'm happy for you to pick up any of those, including Judoon in Chains. There's limits on how many stories we can opt for at once, but just post here which one you're tackling next and I'll avoid any of them for the time being.

To start with I'd like to tackle Judoon in chains. I'll PM you and/or Siskoid later to sort out details. Life is a bit hectic right now but I should be able to set aside to start work on the entry next week.

Cool! Please check the Submission Guideline thread for details on formatting and such.
The only one I know I want to take is Blue Box, I loved that book, but I there's so much audio goodness, I just haven't weeded through what MrH has already done. As soon as I finish w the 5th Book (25 pages of layout to go out of 332!), I'll attack the master list, strike through what's done and so on.

There are a couple of audios missing from the list at the top of this thread:
Recorded Time and Other Stories (Big Finish main range) Judoon in Chains (from the Classic Doctors, New Monsters series)
There are also three more 6th Doctor main range audios to be released by the end of the year, which can be added:
The Behemoth [due out October] The Middle [November] Static [December]
I was also wondering about some of the Big Finish series in which the 6th Doctor has made guest appearances - are we going to cover these here or leave them for the spin-off sourcebooks? The ones I'm thinking of are:
Jago & Litefoot - he only makes cameo appearances in the first three of these, more substantial in the other two: Jago in Love Beautiful Things The Lonely Clock The Hourglass Killers Masterpiece
The Worlds of Doctor Who - he appears in the final story in this linked series: Second Sight
The Diary of River Song - Sixie has so far appeared in two stories in this series (the 7th Doctor in one): World Enough and Time The Eye of the Storm
Finally, I wanted to ask whether we're dealing with The Ultimate Adventure (and Beyond the Ultimate Adventure) as Off-Off Canon or part of the main timeline?

How about we keep the spin-offs to the spin-offs, if only to keep the book manageable? Or at least keep it down to truly 6-specific stuff (like the alt-Doc6 from the Gallifrey audios)?
As for the Ultimate Adventures, they can be placed in the canonical timeline (just before Charlotte) so I'm not treating them as off-canon. You might say the stage play then is off-canon, but is there anything new it would add?
I would look forward to the BVS Stranger stuff to be in off-off canon.

That was my thinking, but I wanted to check with you. I hadn't considered the Burner Doctor from the Gallifrey series though. The only thing I can think of is David Banks' version of the Doctor, who took to the stage for one performance when Jon Pertwee was taken ill. But unless somebody here was in the audience on that night and remembers it, I doubt we have any info about his characterisation to go on. All I know is that he wore a Greenpeace T-shirt. So it's probably best just to go with the audio version. I've got most of the BBV stuff that's directly Who-related, but not the Stranger series. Hopefully you (or somebody else) can cover them? But I do have the BBV Professor & Ace/Dominie & Alice audios and fully expect them to be in the Off-Off canon section for the 7th Doctor!

Work on the 6th Doctor book has begun. The stories that have been done or taken are all struck out on the main index, I think, so if there's any story left you want to cover, just ask. No cover to show yet, but hopefully soon.

The stories that have been done or taken are all struck out on the main index, The Curse of Davros needs to be struck through - there are some entries from that in the files I've sent you.

Oh yeah, I meant to ask, which canonical TV characters weren't in the C7 sourcebook, but in your opinion should have been?

Oh yeah, I meant to ask, which canonical TV characters weren't in the C7 sourcebook, but in your opinion should have been? The official sourcebook covered pretty much all the main characters. The only ones I can think of that should be included are Romulus and Remus from The Twin Dilemma, and Oscar Botcherby (and possibly Anita) from The Two Doctors.

Since the section works best in pairs, and there are only really three (Romulus and Remus have the same stats), then I can totally use the space for that.

Lovely piece of work.
One error Page A4, the write-up for Flip Jackson, there's a typo; third paragraph, final sentence (just above the SPOILER WARNING) I think "on" should be "one".

Despite that, I'm very happy to see this book seems to be moving along at a relatively-fast-but-steady pace. I'm also very happy to see Frobisher included in the book. I think someone had his stats posted here some time ago, but I'm glad to see he still made it into the book as he's one of my favorite comic companions. Having been through some troubled relationships over the years, I love how Frobisher came around to never giving up and still made something for himself. I'm also awaiting to see Dogbolter's stats posted as I have an adventure planned in the future involving Dogbolter's daughter so the stats will give me something to reference. Keep up the great work, Siskoid!

Dogbolter gets an entry, don't worry.
Since Frobisher not only served as companion in the comics, but also got to be in Big Finish's audio universe, he was a shoe-in. He's far from the least obscure companion to make it in! (And that section's not done, just MOSTLY done.) I believe the stats for Frobisher on this forum are by MrHarry, who is also the author of the entry in the book.
Note that the layout pace isn't, for the moment, keeping up with the writing pace. We've got more than 200 entries in the slush pile that are ready to go and get pasted and formatted into the document! I'm trying to give one day a week to the project so that we get there in the end. Check the doc weekly, and hopefully that'll yield some results!

Between this and the upcoming DWAITAS Official Books, I think it's a great time to be a player or a GM. Also, I am aware of Frobisher's Big Finish appearances. I was extremely happy when Doctor Who Magazine's 500th Issue had him make a triumphant return in the comics (by his original artist John Ridgeway no less) among the many other returning comic characters and artists. I'll keep checking back in and letting you know what I think! Good luck!

Yep - Frobisher's an A-list companion as far as I'm concerned. In future volumes, look out for such luminaries as Ali, Gisella, Cat Broome and Ly-Chee the Wise - no companion is too obscure to be included!
