I'm really hoping all the table that I want are on the thing, to be honest. Panel 1: The Basic Rule Difficulty numbers How well did you do? (Yes but/fantastic, etc) Panel 2: Story Point Success Ladder Extended Conflict Summary Conflict Complications Random Hit Location Conflict: Which Attributes & Skills To Use Marksman Damage Panel 3: Cover Chase Summary Effects Of Damaged Attributes Modifiers For Terrain Panel 4: Technology Levels Attributes/Skills Dramatic Events: Spending Or Gaining Story Points Useful Gamemaster's Guide Page References How's that?

Hullo, Kaemaril, Thanks for posting the listing of the panels of the GM Screen. Very useful. It sounds like all the tables that one could require to run the game are on the Screen, so this is good news. The only thing that may be missing here are the rules for damage from falls, fire, drowning and the like, but that's an easy matter to replace with a chart of one's own. Other than that, the Screen sounds pretty good, and extremely useful. Again, thanks for posting the summary material.

I'm really wishing we could get some solid release dates for the DW RPG products.

I'm really wishing we could get some solid release dates for the DW RPG products. These days I think companies avoid any specific dates until they are very close to shipping. They gain little from it at a risk of annoying customers when things go wrong (which they often do) I went through the GM guide yesterday to ensure the screen was complete. I was going to make a separate set of charts if I needed to. Except for environmental damage and mentioning the adjustments for assisting or multiple actions (which are easy to remember or reference anyway) it was all there. If they packed any more in they may have been forced to reduce the print size of the tables so that would have had its own issues. I'm impressed with the whole product really.

Hullo, Ugavine, I'm really wishing we could get some solid release dates for the DW RPG products. Actually, in some ways it's a better thing that we can't get this information. If C7 were to announce that the Gallifreyan supplement (for example, only) were to be released in June, fans of the game and others would expect the product to be out at that time. And if the BBC gave them a bit of a hassle over something in the book that might delay production of the book until January 2011, well, let's just say that the customers would be annoyed and there would be all kinds of flack in fannish circles. Better that C7 announces releases of products close to the actual release dates and all. Smarter, that way. Just my $0.02.

My screen arrived here in Palmdale, California yesterday too. Ordered direct from Cubicle 7, and the USPS label indicates it shipped January 14th...

Well as none of the online shops I use were listing it as in stock I've bought it direct from Cubicle 7. Hoping it arrives before my game next week.

FYI, Esdevium has it on their list of releases for next week, priced at £11.99. So, presumably, Leisure Games will have it next week also. LG's pre-order price was £9.99.

Hullo, folks, Just back from the Comic Book Shoppe here in Ottawa, and have my copies of the GM Screen. Yes, copies, I caved in and bought two of the five that were there, and my friend picked up a third. Having just opened the GM Screen that I will use to run the game, I have to say that this is a *gorgeous* product. The Screen is somewhat thinner than the one for Hollow Earth Expedition, and is matte finish rather than glossy (which I would have preferred), but otherwise the tables look good. I wish it had a bit of content, in the form of a booklet, but that said, it is solid in construction, and was well worth the price. So, well done Cubicle 7! Excellent job! Now, I can't wait for the Aliens and Adversaries boxed set!

I concur. I just picked up my screen this Saturday (I ordered one from a different store, but they still didn't have it on file as when it was coming out. I'm letting my friend buy that one.), and it is a beautiful piece of work. I'm not familiar with the Hollow Earth Expedition screen, but comparing it to the Mutants and Masterminds screen, it's as well built as M&M's screen (thick board and sturdy build). Unfortunately I didn't get much chance to use it yet as I failed to print the session notes off my laptop so that took up the majority of my space last session.

Hullo, Kaemaril, <snippage> My favourite is still the HEX screen. Just as sturdy, lovely artwork on a par with the DW screen, and a lovely glossy finish. Cracking stuff I am definitely inclined to agree with you on this point, but will say the DW: AiTaS Screen is very nice.

Hullo, folks,
Well, the real test of a GM Screen is actually using it in order to run a game and see what happens.
I have to say that I ran my first game session Sunday with the GM Screen, and that it really does help and simplify the running of the game, cutting down on looking things up in the GM Guide, and so forth. Mind you, two of my players asked me whether the outside artwork meant they were going to be dealing with Daleks and Sontarans on a regular basis! ;D

Mine arrived on Monday. Unfortunately the PO was shut the next day (Australia Day) so I had to pick it up this morning.
Good stuff.
I do wonder why Daleks and Sontarans, rather than Cybermen. However it is a plus for redirection as I don't plan on using Daleks or Sontarans for quite a while (well, maybe Sontarans).
