Hey,
After my last campaign, the last one I put up where I did my best to mimic the style of the book. I decided to try a totally new style. This one is just the bare bones. A basic plot outline and a location. The rest can be ad-libbed on the fly as I'm pretty sure that's better. Also I'm pretty sure I may need an NPC of some sort to keep the team on track. I have an Idea, but it's a bit early. I plan to play the first half of this campaign tomarrow so if all goes well I'll report later.
UNACO : Campaign 2
What's in the Vault
Where: United Nations Agency of Curious Objects (UNACO) Head Quarters
When: Not long after the first adventure
Plot: The new recruits are sent into the vault to deliver the new aquasition to the Tech Guys.
While down there there's a surge in the power system which turns on a few seemingly random objects. Because of this odd shadowy figures begin to appear. They can walk through things, but any electronic device they walk through is instantly fried.
Spoilers: The shadowy things are interdimensional aliens. The thing that was turned on was a "Rift Manipulator". The Aliens are totally unaware of this dimension and in fact mean no harm. Any part of the body that touches them goes numb. Talking with them is impossible and so is any for of combat. No stats as such.
When the team goes to turen of the machine they find it damaged beyoind repair.
The only way to stop this is to cause another surge and hope it over charges the machine.
NPCs: The Boss, The Tech Team (Both are simple enough and don't require any sheets yet).
